Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) (2024)

Overview[]

The Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) is a Legendary (previously Rare tier) Zoan-type fruit that transforms the user into a phoenix. The fruit can be found around the map, bought from the Black Market for B$4,500,000 and 10 gems, or from Gacha. This fruit has the unique attribute of healing yourself and setting your opponent on fire, which increases the damage immensely. This is also easily the best legendary for starters due to the low stat requirement.

Moveset[]

Please note that the following damage stats below are provided with the previous maximum fruit stat (4,750).

Pros

  • Good damage
  • Heal move can heal other players in radius
  • Good for breaking Ken.
  • Low stat points required (1000 Stats)
  • Flying move is fast.
  • Transformation gives you an advantage of gathering NPCs, and then killing them all in one shot. Note: They can't hit you when you're in mid-air
  • 4th fastest flight of all fruits behind Gravity, Dragon and Light. (Excluding Awakened fruits)
  • Transformation grants the user infinite flight time. (Basically the passive movement)
  • X move heals you better than Cyborg E move since with Phoenix X move, you can move while healing (does not work on Transformation).
  • Cooldown is fast
  • Has fire damage making it really good for PvP.

Cons

  • Only 3 attacking moves.
  • Short ranged.
  • Transformation gives fruits that have a massive hitbox advantage. (E.g. Magnet.)
  • One of the worst fruits for Sea King, Ghost ship and Hydra hunting due to its short range.
  • Healing in transformation forces you to stop moving, making you vulnerable to long range attacks.
  • Healing (Both transformation/human form) stops when under attacked.
  • Healing area is short-ranged. (Human form)
  • Base form

  • Full form

The user creates two fiery blue and orange wings on each arm, and slams them together creating a gust of wind that damages and knocks back anything hit by it. This gust of wind has a fairly short range but knocks back enemies to compensate for it. The gust of wind itself manifests as a funnel shaped attack, so plenty of npcs can fit within the range of this move. This can also be used to keep the user suspended in the air and lasts for 1 second. This attack sets the target on fire for 3 seconds, and in those 3 seconds 5 ticks of damage are dealt to a player or npc. The actual attack itself deals 6,675 damage with each tick adding 1,112 damage, totaling at 12,235 damage. The refresh of this move is 5 seconds.

The player creates a small blue and green glowing sphere around them which heals the user and any player that is inside the sphere. Anything effected by the healing will have blue flames appear on them, and the healing itself is very potent. The healing works faster on lower level players due to them having less HP then a regular player, to the point where low levels can be healed almost instantly. This healing does not work on npcs, and also effects players that are using Zoan devil fruits. This feature of Phoenix fruit is the reason why this is considered a great fruit, as it can heal around 40% of a players HP in a single sitting. Players cannot use sky jumps or dash while the healing is in use, so it is recommended to find a safe spot to heal so as to not become an easy target. The healing lasts for 5 seconds before going turning off and entering refresh. The refresh for this healing is 12 seconds. In human form, this move can heal about 14k health after it's full duration.

The user creates two wings similarly to the first move and dashes forward damaging anything in its way. The dash has a fairly good distance and has a large hit-box, to the point where the attack needs to barley graze a player or npc to deal the full damage. This can be held to keep the user suspended and lasts for 1 second. Due to the good range and very large hit-box of this move, it is great for grinding. This also has knock back like the first move but is less noticeable then the first moves knock back. This move also sets its target on fire, with the flames lasting for 3 seconds. The actual move itself does 7,150 damage, adding in the 5 ticks of burn damage which do 1,191 damage each, the damage totals at 13,105. The refresh is 6 seconds.

Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) (10)
The player creates wings on each arm, which create a small fiery blue visual explosion which then leads to the players take of into the air. This flight works like all the other flights, it is aimed via the users cursor and will stop after the player lets go of the move. This is the third fastest flight behind Dragon Fruit and Light Fruit. This flight has the major weakness of stunning the user upon exiting for 2 seconds, which deactivates specials or any movement for 2 seconds. This can cause problems during PvP or when flying over water, so be careful when letting go of the flight. The refresh is 4 seconds.

Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) (12)
The player transforms into a large Phoenix. The Phoenix itself is a large blue and orange bird that glows and flaps its wings as its passive model. In the Phoenix form, the player's hitbox is increased to match the size of the Phoenix, and passive flight is also granted. This passive flight is the same speed as its other flight in base form and is the default movement of the player. The flight is controlled with WASD keys or by just dragging the joystick. The move set is upscaled in this form which greatly increases the AOE of the moves and their damage. The refresh to enter and exit the Phoenix form is 3 seconds. You are unable to use Phoenix's X and E move in Full form.

In a much larger version of the base form, the player flaps their wings and creates a very large gust of wind-shaped like a funnel. This version has a very large knockback, to the point where NPCs get knocked over and fumble on the ground for a moment before standing back up. The size of this move is also much larger, which allows for more NPCs to get hit. The attack itself does 7,625 damage' with 4 seconds of burn damage. There are 7 ticks of burn damage with each tick dealing 1,270 damage. The actual amount of damage is 16,515 when combining the base and burn damage. The refresh is 5 seconds.

Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) (16)

This functions the same way as it does in base form, only with a few small differences. The sphere surrounds the entire Phoenix, which makes the healing sphere much larger to make it easier to heal other people. The healing works while the player is moving, so it's possible to fly around and away from threats whilst healing. The healing lasts for 5 seconds and has a refresh of 12 seconds. With the full duration, this move can heal about 15K damage from one player. The devs made a typo when they made the name so in the game it says Strenght Recover.

Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) (17) Spirit Smack
350 stats points
Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) (18)

The player holds their wings and twirls as it dashes forward and damages anything in its way. This is a larger version of the base form variant, and it has a very large AOE to the point where the move is very easy to hit on NPCs and players. The dash distance is fairly long and lasts for 1 second. This does not set its targets on fire, unlike in human form. The actual attack deals 13,825. The refresh is 5 seconds.

Tori Tori no Mi (Phoenix) (19) Tornado
500 stats points
TBA

This move can only be used in full form and was added to the phoenix moveset in update 2. The player spins around very fast, leaving a trail indicating the range of the attack. It has a moderate AOE and it's alright in PvP and PvE. The move hits 16 times and deals 727 damage each hit, totalling around 11,632 damage. However, you can still get hurt while doing this attack if the enemy has a move with any sort of AoE. This attack doesn't have a burning effect. The refresh is 8 seconds.
