Burger King will be serving Whoppers on Friday and Saturday for their original price of 37 cents. To get the special at participating restaurants, customers need to be Burger King Royal Perks members and order through the BK app or website. Burger King debuted its signature Whopper in 1957 at the original location in Miami.

The Pizza Ranch chain is celebrating its 40th year in business with prices from 1981 on its most popular specialty pizza: The Bronco. Get a large for $10.25, a medium for $8 or a small for $5.50 through December.

When you’re a food truck in Sioux Falls and the weather turns cold, business can get a little lean. Old Skool Jersey Ripper & Balls has created Old Skool Jersey Eats with take-and-reheat meals. There are two versions of the menu: the Angel Rippy with healthy meals following macronutrient guidelines and the Devil Rippy with comfort foods. New menus are released at midnight Fridays, and orders are taken online until 7 a.m. Monday. Meals are delivered on Thursdays, for free with a $20 minimum purchase.

The recently added Sunny’s Pizzeria in downtown’s EightyOne Arcade Bar has put personal size pizzas on the menu.

The new Zooks Coffee Bar in Tea has added split cups. Have your favorite drink and try something new like one of the recently released holiday drinks: gingerbread latte, frosted mint latte, Irish cream cold brew, salted caramel chai with gingerbread and hot white chocolate with cookie butter.

Urban Chislic is hosting its fourth Spice Challenge at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 10. Entry is free. Participants eat samples of three to five dishes that feature mouth-burners like Carolina Reaper peppers. New menu items at Crawford’s Bar & Grill are inspired by the new owners, the Ode brothers, who enjoy hunting and fishing, executive chef Dan Myers said. “We have pheasant, buffalo, duck, elk and lamb, and everything that’s new is sourced within South Dakota, Colorado or Minnesota. “One of our favorites is the New York bison strip,” he said. The dry-aged meat, which isn’t super lean like a lot of buffalo, comes from the 777 Ranch near Hermosa. Another new steak option is the 40-ounce wagyu porterhouse. Here’s a look at the menu.

Chef Lance’s on Phillips is offering a three-course meal for $60 every Thursday night in December in addition to its regular menu. Diners can choose a caprese salad or French onion soup for a starter. The main course is a New York strip, and dessert is bananas Foster. Update: The menu will change for next week and may be different every time.

Here’s a winter treat that looks perfect for making a cup of hot chocolate. Josiah’s Coffeehouse, Café & Bakery is making melts that feature made-from-scratch caramel, chocolate and marshmallow. Set the melt in a mug and pour hot milk over it.

Through Dec. 20, Sickies Garage is teaming up with Shiner Beer to help ensure that all kids have a Merry Christmas. Bring in a new, unopened toy to donate and get a pint of Shiner Bock or Shiner Holiday Cheer in return. All toys will be donated to The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Toy Drive in Sioux Falls.

The new Creekside Meats in Hartford is offering weekday smoked hot-and-ready meals. Options change, but here’s what was available this week: Tuesday, tri-tips; Wednesday, whole chickens; Thursday, sliced roast beef; and Friday, baby back ribs. Customers can call the store to order or use the online ordering system. The market also has added take-and-bake pizzas.

The new Sweet Cheeks ice cream shop has added a few daily deals. Monday: 15 percent off with a student ID. Tuesday: Two for $5, mix and match between our last week’s flavors and hard ice cream cups. Wednesday: Spend $20, and get a free small cotton candy.

IHOP has a fun new combo meal for kids that features a Winter Wonderland pancake, bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. Adults don’t have to miss out on the holiday pancakes. Get a stack of four with the blue vanilla icing, mini marshmallows and a dusting of powdered sugar. There’s also a new frozen hot chocolate milkshake.

Outback Steakhouse’s new limited-time menu offerings include Bloomin’ Fried Shrimp and a filet or porterhouse topped with espresso butter. For co*cktails, there’s a pecan Old-Fashioned and a gingerbread cookie martini.

Obscure Brewing Co. is bringing back its popular Twelve Beers of Christmas. The 12-pack of crowlers for $60 is a mix of new beers and taproom favorites. It comes with a suggested food pairing list. Availability is limited, so orders are being taken now at obscurebrewing.com. Pickup will be Dec. 7.

On the same block in downtown Sioux Falls, Carpenter Bar has started its annual co*cktail Countdown to Christmas. Each day features a new release. Day One was The Soft Opening with bourbon, Lillet, Aperol, lemon, house ginger syrup and Hellfire Bitters.

As Wine Time on Main winds down its business this month, the champagne event set for early this month sold out quickly, so a second one has been added for Dec. 13. The event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. will be on the eighth floor of Washington Square, with great views of downtown. Sip on sparkling wine, and enjoy tastings of the best champagne with notes from John Thuringer of Republic National Distributing Co. Tickets are $140. Changes in service, hours

Miner Brewing Co. & Prairie Berry Winery Taproom has started opening earlier on weekdays. Here are the new hours: 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, noon to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Wave 26has added evening hours. Stop in for a smoothie or energy drink from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Kathmandu Indian Cuisine is no longer serving lunch on Mondays, but it’s still serving dinner. It remains open for both lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
