NEW YORK –Themaker of the world’s first hot dog,Feltman’s of Coney Island,has launched its original American Hot Dog at Publix Super Market stores.

During the summer of 1867, Charles Feltman introduced the world's first hot dog to beachgoers on Coney Island, NY. First sold from his pie cartas a way toenjoy quality sausages without plates or silverware, Feltman's hot dogs were an overnight sensation.

Today, Feltman's of Coney Island’s 100% natural all beef hot dogs are inspired by Feltman's original Frankfurter. Feltman’s hot dogs haveno artificial nitrates or ingredientsandarenaturally smoked in a snappy lamb casing to unleash flavorful juices and old worldspices with each bite.

The Publix launch is the hot dog maker’s largest supermarket retail launch in the company’s history and debuted a new 12.8-oz pack SKU of itsUncured Beef Natural Casing Hot Dogs – a perfect match for an eight-pack of hot dog buns – which are now available at Publix locations.
