Thanks and no laughing lol

I just dropped a plate on the floor and it shattered. And as I had no gloves to protect my hands, yours truly used a clean sock to protect hands. It worked.

Lol! Just make sure you get all the glass shards out of the sock or you'll get glass in your foot next time you wear them!

Yes you do need cold water for Jelly; to make up the liquid quantity anyway so I believe!

I used hot water and stirred in the cubes and than added cold water when it had cooled down just a moment ago. It may or may not work...so I'd see.

The sock I used was one of the odd ones we have we keep on the dryer O0

You usually use boiling water to either melt the jelly cubes or powder(which ever you use) and top up to a pint with cold water or however much the packet says To set does jelly definetely need cold water? (3)

I fancy jelly now!...lol It should work! I can't see why it wouldn't. I love eating jelly before it's been set you know before you put hot water on it! Lovely! I always used to nick the jelly cubes when I was younger and blame my dad! We still laugh about it today!...lol
