A brand name: From Tim (the name of Canadian hockey player Tim Horton, and the doughnut shop chain he founded, now Tim Hortons) + bit.

Timbit (plural Timbits)
- (Canada) A bite-sized doughnut ball sold at the Canadian Tim Hortons restaurant chain and sometimes jocularly regarded as an icon of Canadian culture.
