Skyroot Beds do not require any tool to be obtained. When mined, they will drop itself.

Usage[ | ]

Skyroot Beds can be placed down and right-clicked to sleep in. When a player sleeps in a Skyroot Bed, it'll set the player's spawn point. Sleeping in a Skyroot Bed during the night will set the time to day, but a player can exit the bed before they fully fall asleep.

Josediya's dialogue options allow the player to teleport to their Skyroot Bed if they have slept in one before.

Can you place beds in the aether? ›

Until the Gold Dungeon boss is defeated, beds cannot be slept in but can be used to set a new spawn point. Clocks are frozen to midday but the day-night cycle continues in the Overworld. There is no way to place lava in the Aether, except inside a cauldron.

How to use altar in aether? ›

To use an Altar, an item that has an enchanting recipe must be right-clicked on the Altar, and it will be placed in the center of it. After an item is placed in the center, Ambrosium Shards must be right-clicked onto the Altar, making them appear as floating around the item.

How to craft in Aether? ›

Things are crafted by moving items from the inventory to a crafting grid. A 2x2 grid can be accessed from one's inventory, while a 3x3 grid can be utilized by right-clicking a Skyroot Crafting Table.

The Sun Altar allows the user to control the time in the Aether, with the GUI being opened by right clicking the Sun Altar after placing it. The player can slide a slider which determines the time of day, with the very far left of the bar consisting of dawn, and the very far right consisting of night.

Aether Dragon is a mob added by Dragon Mounts mod. When a Dragon Egg is placed at height 170 or above in the Overworld and then right-clicked, it will become an Aether Dragon. It can be tamed after 1 hour (3 Minecraft days) using Raw Fish and given a Saddle in order to ride it.
