Does the Roar Medallion work? ›

Effects. The Roar Medallion enhances roars and breath attacks. This does not apply to spells like Dragon Incantations, but rather to certain weapons and Ashes of War - and the damage increase after activating the roars.

Elden Ring Roar Medallion Notes & Tips

Increases the damage of heavy and charged heavy attacks made under the effect of War Cry, Barbaric Roar, Regal Roar and Shriek of Milos by 15%, as well as the two-handed heavy attacks and charged heavy attacks made under the effect of Braggart's Roar.

The Roar Medallion is obtained by defeating the boss of the Limgrave Tunnels dungeon in Limgrave.

Next to the sarcophagus is a pot. Hit this and it will turn into an old man, who will beg you to take the medallion for safekeeping. The second half of the medallion is located in Castle Sol, at the northernmost point of the Mountaintops of the Giants.

That is just a loud projectile that deals damage you can see increase when you equip the Medallion or the Highlander Axe. Braggart's Roar buffs damage negation, stamina recovery, and increases physical attack by 10%.

Changes the heavy attack moveset of the Sword of Milos to a three hit combo, these attacks recieve the damage bonus of the Roar Medallion and Highland Axe. The weapon buff portion of this ability only applies to the Sword of Milos, regardless of what is in the other hand, or which hand the sword itself is in.

Greyoll's Roar is an offensive AOE spell that also inflicts a debuff on surrounding enemies. Players can use Greyoll's Roar to lower enemies' attack by 15% and defense by 10% for the next 60 seconds.

Brandishing the medallion with both halves conjoined will activate the Grand Lift of Rold, granting access to a hidden path. In other words, this secret medallion will guide the bearer to the land of Miquella's Haligtree.

Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right) can be used to operate Grand Lift of Rold. This medallion opens the path to a secret location past Lyndell, called the Consecrated Snowfield. In order to use it you must be at the bottom of the Grand Lift of Rold and switch actions from "Hoist Medallion" to "Hoist Secret Medallion".

Elden Ring: Roar Medallion Ability

When a player has the Roar Medallion equipped, all of their shriek, roar, or cry skill attacks deal 15% more damage. This only applies to PvE, since in PvP this bonus is reduced to 7.5%. However, in the case of Regal Roar, Troll's Roar, and Beast's Roar, the bonus is always 15%.

Greyoll's Roar Spell Use

Greyoll's Roar sounds the roar of Great Ancient Dragon Greyoll, lowering nearby enemy attack power. While it doesn't deal any direct damage, it unleashes an area of effect blast that will lower every enemy's attack power in range.
