Biography[]
Grace Pell is a recurring character in the show's first season. She was a miner at Finch Creek who was seen as tough. She liked and dated Betsy Mallum, even asking her to move away somewhere they'd be more accepted. Grace wasn't liked by Betsy's dad, Jerry Mallum, because of her cursing. She ended up moving away herself to Eureka Springs after her and Betsy fell apart due to Betsy's addiction problems.
Throughout the Series[]
Grace first appears in the mines with the rest of the miners. She recommends acupuncture to one of the miners, who has back pain. He calls it lesbo voodoo and she makes a joke about eating puss*. Jerry finds that unnecessary and calls her out on her cursing in front of his daughter, Betsy. Grace is then at what looks like a bar later that night. It is revealed that her and Betsy know each other and are in some sort of relationship. They jokingly pretend they don't know each other then start making out, to which they are interrupted by Marge. Betsy then goes home with Grace and they sit in her trailer. Betsy tells Grace her mom will pray for her and they both laugh.
