Fried chicken news: The Bay Area’s first Raising Cane’s opens this week (2024)

Raising Cane’s, the Louisiana-based chicken chain — yes, chain — is opening its first location in the Bay Area this Thursday at 8430 Edgewater Drive in Oakland.

Located less than two miles from Oakland International Airport, Raising Cane’s will offer marinated, hand-battered and cooked-to-order chicken tenderloin combo meals and peppery Cane sauce through its mobile app, drive-thru, takeout and dine-in from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday to Wednesday and until 3:30 a.m. Thursday to Saturday.
