India is a country of vast geographical area and hence the dinner timing varies from region to region. On an average, restaurants start serving dinner by 7 pm, which goes on till 11:30 pm.

If you are in Norway, don’t be surprised if you don’t get to have dinner after 5 or 6 pm, as Norwegians tend to have an early dinner between 4-5 pm.

Dinner in Japan starts earlier than expected and restaurants start serving dinner by 6 pm that goes on till 10 pm.

On an average, people in South Africa sit to have their dinner between 8-10 pm.

In the USA, dinner is typically the longest & biggest meal and people eat between 4:30 pm to 10:59 pm.

‘La Cena’ or dinner in Mexican culture is usually a light snack and is enjoyed between 7 and 9 pm.

You would be surprised to know that eating on the go is considered rude in Brazil, people like to have dinner with their family between 7-8 pm.

Chinese people eat their dinner between 6: 30 to 7:30 pm on an average.

In France, people usually eat their dinner between 7-9 pm while some cities may exceed the time limit by 10 pm.

In the UK, the dinner timings range from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

When in Italy, you can enjoy a 4-5 course leisurely dinner which starts by 8 pm. Dinner is typically the largest meal of the day in Italian culture.

Spaniards are late-night eaters and enjoy their dinner between 9-11 pm on an average.

People in Australia are increasingly opting for an early dinner between 5-6 pm as they want to spend the rest of the time with their family.
