The temptation of Independence Day barbecues was almost too much for the dieting celebrity.

Kim Kardashian is sticking with the“crazy strict” Atkins diet – which has been helping her lose excess baby weight – revealing that she stayed inside on the Fourth of July rather than tempt herself with the holiday’s traditional line-up of barbecue and beer.

“Stayed home today cuz I couldn’t temp myself,” she told her Snapchat followers on Independence Day. “2weeks crazy strict Atkins diet.”

She included a series of emojis – a slice of pizza, a donut, an ice cream, a hamburger, a hot dog, a taco and a sideof fries –with the message.

Indeed, while Atkins is certainlyworking for Kardashian, who is best known forbeing afamous person, it’s alsoclearlyresulting insome pretty intense junk food cravings. (Maybe she should take some of this stuff.)

Writing on her website-slash-app this week – we use the word “writing” loosely, of course –Kardashian attempted to keep the cravings in checkby tackling them head-on.

“Fast food is def one of my guilty pleasures,” she wrote with practiced platitudinousness. “I go very rarely, but OMG I love it so much when I decide to indulge.”

“I haven’t gone in forever, but maybe talking about it will kill my craving LOL.”

McDonald’s – where she “ALWAYS” has to get an order of small fries – Chipotle, In-N-Out Burger, KFC and Taco Bellwere her top five fast food chains, she wrote.

In addition to the aforementioned fries, Kardashian’s typical McDonald’s order includes either chicken nuggets with a side of honey or chicken nuggets and a cheeseburger, though sheonly ever eats half of each when she takes the second option.

At Chipotle – a taco and burritochainwhere she has been photographed numerous times in the past– the poor woman faces her own mortality every time she has drink.

“I always get a Diet co*ke from the fountain with LOTS of ice,” she wrote. “If they don’t put enough ice in it, I die.”

At KFC she enjoys extra-crispy chicken wings and a biscuit with honey – American biscuits are a bit like scones, only not as sweet – while at Taco Bell she orders hard or soft tacos with cinnamon twists for dessert.

Her favourite fast food indulgence, however, appearsto be In-N-Out Burger, which she gushed about in the vapid text messagebe-bop she has famously made her own.

“This is honestly one of my favorite meals ever,” she wrote. “I always get just the plain cheeseburger, cheese fries and a vanilla shake. So good!!!”

To be fair, when it comes to In-N-Out Burger, Sydneysiders know what she’s talking about.

Kardashian’s love of fast food, sweets and other sometimes foods has been documented extensively in the past, mostly notably on her own Instagram page, where she has taken selfies with Café Du Monde beignets, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, McDonalds McGriddles, Lucky Charms breakfast cereal, baby back ribs, churros and Tim Tams.

“I’m obsessed with Tim Tams,” she told Australian reporters when she visited the country in 2014. “The first day I got here I ate a whole box.”

She has also described them as her “favorite snack ever!”

At last count, Kardashian only had 12 pounds (5.4kg) left to lose before she weighed what she did in before she becamepregnant with her first child.
