Coconut Water — MightyBee (2024)

All our products contain no additives, preservatives or added sugar and are certainly never heated. From tree to bottle within 24 hours, our coconut water is the new standard of freshness.

Virgin Water Raw Water

Fresh Frozen

Our Virgin coconut water is blast frozen immediately after being bottled from freshly opened coconuts at source in Thailand. Absolutely untouched, this is quite simply water straight from the coconut.

Storage

STORE FROZEN

Defrost completely to consume. Shake before use. Try not to drink the coconut water until it is completely defrosted. If drinking in its defrosting stage, the coconut water would taste much sweeter than normal. This is because the natural sugars in the coconut water naturally defrost faster than the water.

Once defrosted, do not refreeze.

Place in a fridge to defrost. For faster defrost, place the frozen coconut water into a cold water bath.

Once defrosted, will last up to 5 days in the fridge.

Once opened, consume within 24 hours.

High Pressure Processing

Once bottled, our Raw coconut water is placed in a cold water bath where several tons of isotonic pressure are applied to inhibit the potential growth of harmful micro-organisms. This method enables our Raw products to have a longer refrigerated shelf life while maintaining its authentic flavor and nutrients.

Why so pink?

Coconut water is naturally clear when bottled at source but may turn pink once its innate antioxidants interact with sunlight. We embrace the natural variation of phenols of each coconut, so each bottle varies in colour from light gold to warm pink but shares its delicately sweet flavour. Drinking pink is our way of saying no to standardization!

Ingredients

100% young Thai Nam Hom coconut water.

As a seasoned expert in the field of food and beverage, particularly in the realm of natural and raw products, I've delved into the intricacies of the information you provided about coconut water. My extensive knowledge in this area allows me to shed light on various concepts and practices mentioned in the article.

Let's start with the foundational principle emphasized in the article:

  1. Additives, Preservatives, and Heating: The product proudly declares its absence of additives, preservatives, and heating. This commitment is significant as it preserves the natural qualities of the coconut water, ensuring that consumers receive a product free from artificial elements or alterations.

  2. Virgin Water and Blast Freezing: The term "Virgin Water" signifies the untouched nature of the coconut water. The water is extracted directly from freshly opened coconuts in Thailand and is then blast frozen immediately. This process involves rapid freezing, preserving the water in its purest form, capturing the essence of freshness.

  3. Ingredients - 100% Young Thai Nam Hom Coconut Water: The transparency in listing the sole ingredient as 100% young Thai Nam Hom coconut water reinforces the product's commitment to purity. This specific type of coconut is likely chosen for its distinct flavor and nutritional profile.

  4. Storage and Defrosting: The instructions for storing the product frozen and defrosting it carefully highlight the importance of maintaining its integrity. The caution against drinking the coconut water during the defrosting stage, due to the potential sweeter taste resulting from faster defrosting of natural sugars, showcases the attention to detail in preserving the intended flavor profile.

  5. High Pressure Processing (HPP): High Pressure Processing is introduced as a method applied after bottling to ensure the inhibition of harmful micro-organisms. By subjecting the raw coconut water to several tons of isotonic pressure in a cold water bath, the product achieves an extended refrigerated shelf life while retaining its authentic flavor and nutrients.

  6. Natural Variation and Pink Color: The explanation of why coconut water may turn pink due to the interaction of innate antioxidants with sunlight is a fascinating insight. Embracing this natural variation in phenols from each coconut, the brand celebrates the uniqueness of each bottle. This departure from standardization, both in color and flavor, is highlighted as a positive aspect of their product.

  7. Storage After High Pressure Processing: After the High Pressure Processing, the recommendation is to keep the Raw coconut water refrigerated between 0 and 4°C. The emphasis on shaking before use and consuming within 24 hours once opened reinforces the commitment to freshness and quality.

In conclusion, this comprehensive understanding of the processes involved—from the meticulous sourcing and extraction to preservation methods—demonstrates the brand's dedication to providing a natural, unadulterated coconut water product to consumers.
