After Chapter 6 passes by with no new Substories on offer, Chapter 7 brings a host of new ones to sit alongside any unfinished business from Chapters 4 and 5.

20. Table For One
Upstairs in Wette Kitchen (it’s on Ijin Lane), you’ll see a boy eating on his own. Come back later and you’ll be asked to find a glove. At the new marker, you’ll have to fight the thief then go back to Wette Kitchen for a final time. You’ll complete the story and will now be able to hire Noboru for Ichiban Confections.
21. Dumpster Of Demise

Opposite the Romance Workshop, you’ll see a man picking through Yakuza rubbish. The second time you go there, he’ll give you an item, and the third time, he’ll find a bloody shirt from a Yakuza hit. You’ll have to fight two Yakuza who show up, but once you beat them, you can hire Shige at Ichiban Confections.
22. An Act Of Kindness
Near Jinnai Station, you’ll see a young girl asking for donations. The more money you give her, the bigger your personality boost. She’ll ask for the best place to stand, you you should choose "Near The Popular Eatery". Go back later and you’ll see her struggling again, and should pick "Listen Up" when she asks for help. You'll then need to go to the location in Koreatown to fight some scammers, before going back to the girl again to officially wrap things up.
24. Fifty Shades Of Play
In the Red Light District parking lot, you will interrupt a gang of young dominatrixes picking on an older dominatrix. At the end of this scene, you’ll also meet Mr masoch*st. At the nearby park, you’ll meet Mr masoch*st again, and will need to fight him. However, neither of you will do much damage to each other. You’ll then need to go to Poppo, where the older dominatrix and Mr masoch*st’s mother work. Bring his mother to the park to meet him, but that still won’t help him feel pain. However, after this, you’ll be able to intervene when the older dominatrix is attacked, only for Mr masoch*st to arrive and save the day. After this, the Substory ends and you can call Mr masoch*st as a defence boosting Poundmate.
25. A Fading Star
At the Eomeoni's Vow bar in Koreatown, you’ll see a drunk man get kicked out. Follow him to the next bar, and you’ll end up in a fight with him. You’ll also discover he’s a washed up movie star, Yu-Jin. After a cutscene, you’ll end up at the Park, and the man will ask for a drink of water. You can get this at most vending machines. With the water, you should give it to him so you move the quest along. You’ll then meet the man one more time, and will get into a fight on his behalf. Once this is done, you’ll be able to call Yu-Jin as a Poundmate.
27. The Miracle Of Spice

At the crossroads at the end of Hyaeyeki Street, you’ll see an old woman struggling to cross the road. After speaking to her, you’ll get directions to a man selling incredibly spicy Kimchi. You’ll need to give this Kimchi to man trying to break his personal best, a nervous girl at the train station, and the same old woman to help her cross the road. After this, return to the Kimchi seller and you’ll see all of these characters lining up to buy some more. This ends the Substory, and unlocks Umeko for Ichiban Confections.
