Welcome to IGN's Walkthrough for Yakuza 0, continuing with Chapter 2: The Real Estate Broker in the Shadows. In this chapter, you play as Kazuma Kiryu. This guide will help you navigate through the world, earn trophies, and fight tough enemies.

Go to the Kazama Family Office

After the introductory cutscene, meet with Nishiki to fill him in on the wild night. After the conversation, go to Kiryu’s apartment. Along the way, Mr. Shakedown will appear.

Mr. Shakedown is a very large man who will randomly inhabit the open world for the sole purpose of beating money out of you. Every hit you take causes you to lose money. If you eventually lose the fight, he takes all of your money. However, if you manage to defeat him, you win back your losses and any extra cash he has on him.

Mr. Shakedown uses brawler abilities, attacking very slowly yet with incredible power. Two punches from him and you’ll be done. Use the rush ability to stay quick on your feet, waiting for him to attack, then performing combos while he recovers. For this first fight, you will only need to bring him to about half health before he calls off the fight. For this initial fight, you will not win money. After the brawl, continue to the apartment. When you arrive, climb the stairs to the right. Then, enter the first door at the top.

Gather Info on Tachibana Real Estate

After the cutscene, Kiryu sets out to learn more about Tachibana Real Estate. To start the search, head back to Kamurocho. When you arrive, run forward until you come to a 3-way intersection. Here, two men are talking, one with a ponytail. Listen to his conversation. Then, turn left and continue running to the end of this where another pair of men conversing.

They will reveal the location of a business affiliated with Tachibana Real Estate. To reach this business, head west toward the bowling alley. Walk to the south side of the building to meet Miss Tatsu, one of Bacchus’s affiliates. Here, she introduces the beast style of fighting. Thankfully, some goons come along to provide some practice.

After the fight, turn right and head down the street along the south end of the bowling alley.

Here, a Yakuza member is threatening the manager of Cafe Blend. Defeat the Yakuza. Then, talk to the shop owner. He says the Tachibana should be at his old cafe in the Hakua Building. After the conversation, head toward the marker. When you arrive, enter via the staircase.

Talk to the last remaining tenant of this building. Soon, a man named Oda will enter, urging the owner to leave the property. After this scene, a homeless man will describe how Tachibana hires his homeless associates to deface certain properties the company wishes to acquire.

Find the Homeless Men

Next, Kiryu must find the homeless men who have information on Tachibana. Go to the waypoint to find two homeless men that point you in the direction of Public Park 3 to find someone on the Tachibana payroll. Head to this location. Here, several homeless men stand huddled around a fire. Talk to them. They will insist on getting alcohol before sharing any information. Frist, talk to each man separately to get their booze orders. Then, head for the convenience stores in search of the alcohol.

Here, you have the opportunity to get the Rich Taste Trophy. Instead of buying Champagne for the homeless man, buy the Gold Champagne for ¥20,000. Return the Gold Champagne to the man who asked, and you will pop the trophy.

Once the drinks are acquired, return them to their respective drinker. Then, the men will talk. They say Tachibana boys can be found in the Champion District. Head to this location.

When you arrive, look for the first alley ahead to the right. Look closely to spot an item on the ground. This is the Reika Aiba Type A Card.

Continue toward the objective. Here, some angry residents lurk, looking to fend off more intruders. Defeat these guys. Then, Oda will show up. He will call his boss, who wants to meet with Kiryu. Head to the marked location. Inside, a group of Tachibana employees has prepared an ambush. Defeat these men. Then, head to the penthouse. Here, Oda wishes to fight himself.

Jun Oda Boss Fight

In this fight, the Beast Style works very well. Move close to the furniture, using couches, chairs, and tables mid-swing to deal massive damage.

After your fight, Tachibana arrives. In a cutscene, he tells of his hunger for power against the Yakuza. He explains how Kazama is actually affiliated with him, even organizing the meeting of Kiryu and Tachibana.
