Welcome to IGN’s walkthrough for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. This section covers Chapter 15: To The Pinnacle, which is the final chapter of the game. It involves the culmination of Kasuga's journey and ends with some difficult boss fights.

Chapter 15: To The Pinnacle

Congrats! You’ve made it to the final chapter, but you still have a tough fight ahead of you. After the chapter's opening cutscenes, you'll find yourself back in Kamurocho. Your first destination is Earth Angel.

You'll also have access to the Kamurocho Underground Dungeon which is a great place to grind for some additional levels and discover new Sujimon before the upcoming fights ahead. You can access it by entering the manhole near Theater Alley.

When you're ready to continue with the story, head to Earth Angel to meet Nick Ogata on the east side of Kamurocho. After a short chat about your plan and another cutscene, you'll regain control of the party and need to head to New Serena for the night to lay low.

You'll find New Serena in the southwest corner of Kamurocho. When you approach the building, take the elevator up to the second floor and enter the bar through the doorway straight ahead for another cutscene.

Note: Heading to the Millennium Tower marks the point of no return. Make sure to complete any remaining Subquests, collect or upgrade any gear, level up your party, change classes, or anything else you might want to do before the end of the game. You can take a taxi back to Ijincho, if necessary.

Before heading to Millennium Tower, make sure to stock up on plenty of recovery items to heal HP and MP during battle. There are Recovery Points available inside the tower, but they are spaced out in between waves of Tokyo Omi Alliance fights.

Ascending Millennium Tower

When you approach Millennium Tower, it will prompt you one last time to make sure you're ready to go. Again, this is the point of no return for Yakuza: Like a Dragon and once you enter Millennium Tower there's no going back. Most of the enemies you'll face are in the high Lv. 50-60 range, so make sure your party is well-equipped. It's also recommended to make a backup save file, just in case.

After a couple short cutscenes, you'll be thrown into battle immediately. The Millennium Tower is a gauntlet, of sorts, and you'll be fighting many battles against mostly generic Omi Alliance enemies (with a few special types thrown in there) in the lead up to the final boss.

Tip: Most of the upcoming fights will utilize the same tactics you've been utilizing for the entire game up until this point: focus on area attacks, identify and exploit enemy weaknesses, eliminate weaker enemies before turning your attention to the stronger ones, switch up your party members, and stay on top of your healing. As long as you keep these tips in mind, you should fare well as you climb the tower.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

The first fight is against six Tokyo Omi Alliance Members. You'll face Ando (Lv. 58) and five Lv. 57 enemies: Sakaguchi, Sakakibara, Miura, Ozawa, and Matsush*ta. These enemies won't pose much of a threat for you. A single shot from Nanba's Essence of Pyro Prison should all but wipe them out.

After the fight, turn around and grab a couple Mysterious Fruits lying on the ground near the elevators. There's also a Mysterious Stone near a magazine rack and a Hand Grenade in a small hallway. After grabbing the items, take the elevator up to the next floor.

Grab the First Aid Kit at the end of the hallway and continue through the entryway on your left. There's also some High-quality Cloth underneath a desk just inside the office. Another group of enemies awaits you ahead.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

This next fight is against another group of six Tokyo Omi Alliance Members. Inada (Lv. 58) and five Lv. 57 enemies: Toyama, Inoue, Enomoto, Adachi, and Usui stand in your way.

Utilize the same tactics as the previous fight and you should fare well. Don't forget to grab the High-end Leather on the ground afterwards. Head through the double doors for another fight.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

The next fight is against four Lv. 57 Tokyo Omi Alliance Members: Morikawa, Sugita, Mizuno, and Nagashima. The only difference with this fight is that two of them have large sledgehammers as weapons. Otherwise, nothing unusual about this fight.

The sledgehammer enemies are resistant to fire, but weak to electric attacks and not much more difficult than the standard enemies. After clearing the room, head through the next set of double doors.

You'll enter a green room with medical supplements and Kasuga will warn that "there's definitely a miniboss ahead." Grab the High-quality Cloth on the ground and exit the room through the doors on the opposite side of the room.

Fight: Mysterious Men

Well here's your miniboss, I guess. Instead of Tokyo Omi Alliance Members, you'll be up against two Lv. 60 Crabby Sentinels Kawahara and f*ckada as well as a Lv. 59 Dr. Black Hasegawa and three Lv. 57 Mad Caseys: Nakazawa, Uchiyama, and Tsutsui.

Thin the herd with Nanba's Essence of Pyro Prison and any other area attacks you have to eliminate the Mad Caseys and Dr. Black from the fight before focusing on the Crabby Sentinels. They are weak to slash and fire damage and will likely reduce damage by blocking most of your attacks. Stay vigilant and focus on one at a time and you should be fine.

Grab the High-end Leather in the corner before continuing. Approach the elevators and take it to the next floor. Exit the hallway and turn left for a silver safe containing Illegal Boots. Head to the opposite end of the hallway and follow the path ahead for a briefcase containing a Kiwami Drink. Enter the office on your left for another standard fight.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

This fight is against three Tokyo Omi Alliance Members: Nagaoka (Lv. 58), Nakagawa (Lv. 57) and Oi (Lv. 57). Standard battle tactics apply here as this is a straightforward fight.

Head through the door on the left for an optional fight and some items, otherwise continue through the main double doors straight ahead.

Optional Fight: Mysterious Man

This fight is against Batterer out of Hell Oba (Lv. 60). He's weak to electric attacks and can occasionally set of dynamite to damage the entire party, but otherwise shouldn't pose much of a threat.

After defeating him, grab the Cyber Armor from the silver safe, as well as a Military Belt and Pearl Earrings in the next room over. Head back to the previous room and through the double doors towards the objective marker.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

There's another trio of Tokyo Omi Alliance Members waiting for you in this room: Matsuno (Lv. 58), Imai (Lv. 57) and Kuroda (Lv. 57). Despite wielding bats and a lead pipe, these enemies don't pose much of a threat. Grab the Tungsten on the ground and head through the next set of double doors.

Fight: Mysterious Men

This is a unique fight against The Dark Sweeper Konno (Lv. 60) and two Lv. 57 Toxic Wastoids Sano and Hosotani.

The Toxic Wastoids are resistant to physical attacks, but weak to fire damage so have Nanba take care of them. Once The Dark Sweeper is left, turn your attention to him. He has an ability that can damage the entire party and potentially give them colds. He is weak to electric damage, so utilize any abilities that you have at your disposal to make quick work of him.

In the next room, grab the Superalloy Steel in the corner next to the boxes and head through the door. You'll enter into a short cutscene, but afterwards have the ability to heal up using the nearby Recovery Point and grab anything out of your Item Box, if needed.

Head up the stairs and exit through the doorway into the next office. Ooh, hardwood floors - fancy! Follow the office around through the presentation room and through the double doors for another fight.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

Another group of Tokyo Omi Alliance Members await you on the other side: Kishida (Lv. 58), Nagaoka (Lv. 57), Iwai (Lv. 57), and Inoue (Lv. 57).

advertisem*nt

Dispatch this group of rather standard enemies with fire attacks and area attacks. Grab the Gleaming Aluminum in the corner near the printers before continuing through the next door.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

This group of Lv. 57 Tokyo Omi Alliance Members includes Tanimoto, Machida, Komiya, and Hasegawa. This is another standard fight that doesn't take much skill. Honestly, basic attacks work fine here to conserve MP.

Grab the Tempered Safety Glass on the ground when you're finished with the fight. There's another optional doorway that leads to a fight and some items, if you choose. Otherwise, head through the open doorway to the next set of enemies.

Optional Fight: Mysterious Man

If you choose to head through the optional doors, you'll encounter Jack the Ripper Maruyama (Lv. 60).

He's resistant to physical, lightning, and fire attacks, but doesn't have a ton of HP so feel free to use what you can. He can also envenom his blade to cause poison damage to your party members.

After the fight, grab the Cyber Helmet from the silver safe behind him, as well as a pair of Cyber Boots in the other silver safe in the next room before returning to the previous area and exiting through the open doorway for another fight.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

Besides the three Lv. 57 Tokyo Omi Alliance Members Niwa, Ikeda, and Furuya, this fight introduces Big Payback Adullam (Lv. 60).

advertisem*nt

After dispatching the three Tokyo Omi Alliance Members, focus on Big Payback. He's resistant to physical attacks but weak to electric damage, so Adachi's Paralysis Prongs and similar attacks work extremely well. He'll occasionally taunt your party members, causing them to become enraged and only use physical attacks on him. Once the fight is over, grab the Hand Grenade and Incendiary Grenade off the reception desk before taking the elevator up to the next floor.

On the next floor, grab the Mysterious Stone on the circular bench and step over the nearby turnstiles to continue. Head down the hallway and grab the Raw Sapphire Ore before heading into the office on your right.

There's a group of men patrolling this room that can be skipped if you quickly head into the doorway on your right. Otherwise, you can fight them for XP and an item at the opposite end of the room.

Optional Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

If you choose to fight the enemies, you'll be up against four Tokyo Omi Alliance Members: Goto (Lv. 58), Mizoguchi (Lv. 57), Kudo (Lv. 57), and Hirota (Lv. 57). This is another standard fight that shouldn't take much effort.

After defeating them, grab the Expert Gloves out of the silver safe at the opposite end of the room. Head back through the closed double doors near the beginning to continue. Grab the Antique Pistol from the briefcase on the left. Head through the double doors for a fight.

Fight: Mysterious Man

In this fight, you'll be up against The Death Knuckle Ochi (Lv. 60). As expected, he can hit hard with his spiked iron boxing gloves. He'll block many attacks you throw at him to reduce incoming damage, but if you're lucky you can score a status effect on him to reduce his effectiveness. Otherwise, this fight shouldn't pose much of a threat.

Grab the Highest-quality Lumber from the table on the left and continue through the double doors. The next room has a ton of items to grab including a Gold Ingot, Power Ring, and Courage Pendant on the ground. There's also three silver safes containing Quixotic Greaves, a Quixotic Helmet, and Quixotic Armor.

Continue up the stairs and over the turnstiles to the next floor. Head into the restaurant through the automatic sliding double doors and grab the Golden Moth on the ground near the window. Another group of enemies is patrolling nearby that you'll need to fight.

advertisem*nt

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

This fight is against four more Tokyo Omi Alliance Members: Masuda (Lv. 58), Kusano (Lv. 58), Muraoka (Lv. 58), and Hoshi (Lv. 57). There's plenty of opportunity here for environmental attacks with all the tables and chairs around, but area attacks also work well to thin out this group before focusing on a single one.

After the fight, grab the Rime Amulet out of the silver safe nearby as well as a Golden Butterly and Golden Mantis near the window. Continue towards the center of the room near the bar for another fight against a couple enemies.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

This fight is against two Lv. 59 Tokyo Omi Alliance Members Hirota and Kuwabara. Of the two, Kuwabara is the weaker one. He's vulnerable to electric attacks and generally takes less to go down. Hirota, on the other hand, is more prone to blocking and will defend himself against the majority of your attacks. Don't hold back, though, as there's a Recovery Point just ahead, so you can heal up your HP and MP fully. Once they are both defeated, grab the Staminan Spark and Tauriner Maximum off the bar counter before heading into the kitchen.

Recover your party's HP and MP using the food spread in the middle of the room. There's also an Item Box nearby, if needed. Don't forget to collect the Chinese Sticky Rice from the grill area and Shark Fin Bun from the shelf in the corner of the room. Exit the kitchen through the opposite doorway and follow the hallway around the corner. There's a Golden Spider hidden near the railing that you can grab. Further ahead, you'll be ambushed by three enemies just ahead.

Fight: Tokyo Omi Alliance

This fight is against three Tokyo Omi Alliance Members: Adachi (Lv. 59), Inada (Lv. 57), and Sonoda (Lv. 57). Realistically, you can use whatever attacks you want here as you can always return to the kitchen to replenish your MP after the fight.

Grab the Golden Scorpion on the right following the fight and continue following the path around. There's a Golden Dragonfly on the right near a sitting area and a Toughness Infinity just across from it in a briefcase near the window. Finally, grab the Yakuza Training Gear from the silver safe before heading up the staircase.

On the next floor, grab the Golden Stag Beetle on your right after entering the room as well as an Awakened Misanga out of the silver safe near the bar.

Fight: Mysterious Men

The next room has two tough Arminator enemies: Toyama (Lv. 60) and Matsuno (Lv. 57). Both are weak to electric attacks, but focus on Matsuno first as he has less health. Toyama's crossbow attacks can be annoying as it deals a lot of small damage, but otherwise they shouldn't pose much of a threat.

After taking the two men down, grab the Golden Rhinoceros Beetle on the right and an All-Purpose Remedy and Mental Supplements from two nearby briefcases on the ground. It's also recommended to heal up using any items you may have as the next fight is the a boss battle. Continue through the door for a cutscene followed by a fight.

Boss Fight: Yosuke Tendo

Here he is, the man you've been waiting to fight. You'll be up against Ryudo Family Patriarch Tendo (Lv. 60). The first half of the battle against Tendo goes as you might expect. He’s incredibly bulky and resistant to both physical and knife attacks. He also hits pretty hard with his combos, so make sure you have your healer in the party.

Phase One: Bareknuckle Brawler

A good strategy to begin is applying poison to him through Joon-gi's Poison Shot Skill or by summoning Nancy-chan from Poundmates. This will ensure that his health can slowly tick away while you focus on hitting him with your best abilities.

Watch out for Tendo's Dragon's Descent ability. He will begin glowing gold and your party will have a short discussion warning you about the attack. Make sure you guard during this phase to avoid taking heavy damage when he unleashes Dragon's Dance.

Don't forget to summon Poundmates to help out with the battle by applying damage and buffs/debuffs. More than anything, this is a fight of attrition that will likely take you a long time no matter how well-leveled you are.

advertisem*nt

Phase Two: Brass Knuckles

Once his HP drops below 50%, Tendo will put on a pair of brass knuckles and a short cutscene will play.

Tip: During this phase of the fight it's extremely important that you use Kasuga's Peerless Resolve ability, as Tendo can KO party members with a single punch. If Kasuga doesn't have this ability active, he will be knocked out and it's game over. After each time Kasuga is knocked out, remember to reapply Peerless Resolve. You'll know it's active as Kasuga will have a small heart with the number '1' above his health bar.

With his new weapon equipped, Tendo will have access to a couple new moves that you'll want to look out for, the first being Devil's Awakening. He will raise his left arm and begin glowing purple while charging up an attack. Devil's Left Wing can deal massive damage when it connects, so try to mitigate it by timing a perfect block.

The other ability to watch out for is God's Warning. He will raise his right arm and begin glowing pink. He will charge up a massive punch and unleash God's Right Hand which will automatically KO a party member, so make sure you have First Aid Kits or revival Skills available. If Kasuga dies, it's game over so make sure you've utilized his Peerless Resolve ability.

For this phase focus on using high-damage Skills, keep your party's healing up, make sure Kasuga always has Peerless Resolve up, and try to time your perfect blocks to mitigate as much damage as possible. These tactics paired with an ever-draining poison on Tendo means he will eventually fall.

Phew. After that long fight take a moment to relax with some cutscenes before the real final boss...

Boss Fight: Ryo Aoki

As expected, you'll be up against Governor of Tokyo Ryo Aoki (Lv. 60) and seven Lv. 59 Tokyo Omi Alliance Members: Uemura, Mori, Nakamura, Takesh*ta, Ikeda, Niwa, and Tani.

advertisem*nt

Thankfully, this fight isn't anywhere near as difficult as the fight against Tendo, but it's no walk in the park either. The first step is to clear out the Omi Alliance Members using area attacks. Most are weak to fire damage, so nuke them with Nanba's Essence of Pyro Prison to start thinning out the crowd and leaving others with burns.

As you clear out the bodyguards, Aoki will likely summon more guards in. You'll need to keep taking them out one by one until he's the only one left standing. His guards can also buff his defense and also taunt your party members into attacking them.

Most of his bodyguards are expendable. The bulkiest of the bunch are Niwa and Tani, both resistant to fire attacks, but not difficulty by any means.

Once Aoki is alone, focus on exploiting his weakness to electric attacks. He will occasionally fire a gun and call for more backup, but otherwise isn't much of a threat and will eventually fall.

But...just before his HP is depleted, Aoki will flee the fight. You'll have a quick chat with your party who will all encourage you to chase after him. At this point you can heal, at the nearby Recovery Point if needed.

Head up the stairs and you'll see Aoki looking out the window. Approach him and another cutscene will play before he decided to face Kasuga one last time.

Boss Fight: Masato Arakawa

For the final fight of the game you'll be up against the true young master Arakawa Masato (Lv. 60) in a one-on-one match. Final Destination only, no items. Well, actually you can use items here, but you don't have your weapons.

Since the two of you are engaging in fisticuffs, you'll only be allowed to use your hand-to-hand Skills. Thankfully, you should have unlocked quite a few by now. Also, Masato is a pretty weak fighter and his attacks do a laughable amount of damage, so you should have no issues with this fight. Just hit him with your best Skills and he should fall after a handful of rounds. Realistically, you could just turn on auto battle and let it play out as it's really straightforward.

After his health is depleted you'll automatically enter into a cutscene involving some quick-time events. Press the corresponding button repeatedly or within the time limit to advance the scene.

advertisem*nt

Once Masato falls to the lower level, you're done. Congratulations! Enjoy the final cutscenes as your hero's adventure is over...

...Or is it? After you're returned to the main menu you'll have the option to continue your save in Premium Adventure which allows you to complete any Substories, play mini games, and more. You'll also unlock Final Millennium Tower, an optional endgame dungeon.

There is also a New Game+ mode for Yakuza: Like a Dragon which offers difficulty levels and allows you to carry over most of your progress as you begin the story from the beginning.
