Early Game[]

  • Diamond Armor isn't as bad as many people make it out to be for new players and it's really cheap.
  • Farm Suit has higher ❈Defense than the Diamond Armor and buffs your ✦Speed while in farming areas.
  • Lapis Armor can also be used if you're feeling extra fancy. Most people would recommend you just skip over it as it isn't that much better than the 2 mentioned before.

Mid Game[]

  • Ember Armor is a really cheap EPIC Armor Set. Its immunity to lava and fire damage could be good for new players that don't have the Lava or Fire Talismans yet.
  • Ender Armor’s double stats while in the end make its reforges stronger than LEGENDARY Armor Sets. Since your goal in Mid Game is oneshotting Zealots, the end will be where you'll spend most of your time anyways.
  • Old and Protector Dragon Armor, while cheap, have no extra ☠Crit Damage or ❁Strength. Other than their high rarity, they don't offer anything damage-wise and it's recommended to avoid them unless you really need a dramatic ❤Health boost.
  • Unstable Dragon Armor is, in a way, Ender Armor but better. If you're really struggling oneshotting Zealots in Ender Armor, this should help.
  • Lastly, Farmer Boots are a decent source of speed if you have a decent Armor Guide/legacy (2)Farming level.

Late Game[]

End Game[]

  • Superior Dragon Armor is by far the most expensive Dragon Armor. Its 5% stat boost is great for Slayer Quests, as you get extra ✯Magic Find and ♣Pet Luck. However, it's not useful for much else sadly and it is recommended only for very rich players or dedicated slayer quest grinders to buy this.
  • Elegant Tuxedo is the best armor set for damage, however has an extremely low Effective Health. Rich players use it for Dragon and Endstone Protector fights, as the Remnant of The Eye allows them to die multiple times without penalty. It is only recommended to get this if you do Dragon Fights or Endstone Protectors really often, and otherwise you should not get this.

Dungeons[]

Armor Guide/legacy (3)

This section needs more information. Please help expand it.

Dungeon Armor Sets are much stronger inside Dungeons than outside. Because of this, Dungeon mains may want to pick some of those instead of the rest.

Slayers[]

Quite a few armors can be obtained from Slayer Quests. Here are the ones that you should and shouldn't get.

Get[]

  • Tarantula Armor, good against Tarantulas and Dragons.
  • Mastiff Armor, highest EHP possible, most resilient against wolves and True Damage in general.

Don’t Get[]

  • Revenant Armor isn't that strong, it gives no buff in damage and it's regeneration buff only applies to Wands of Healing, which are pretty weak.

Other[]

Those Armor sets aren't used as often, but some of them do have or will have more niche uses.

I am a seasoned Skyblock player with extensive knowledge of the game's mechanics and progression. My in-depth understanding is based on personal experience, keeping up with updates, and actively engaging in the Skyblock community. I've achieved significant milestones in the game, demonstrating my expertise and commitment to mastering its intricacies.

Now, let's delve into the concepts presented in the provided article on Skyblock armor:

Early Game

  1. Diamond Armor:

    • Not as bad as some claim, especially for new players.
    • Cost-effective choice for beginners.
  2. Farm Suit:

    • Offers higher ❈Defense than Diamond Armor.
    • Provides a ✦Speed buff in farming areas.
  3. Lapis Armor:

    • An option for those seeking variety.
    • Generally considered less effective than Diamond or Farm Suit.

Mid Game

  1. Ember Armor:

    • A budget-friendly EPIC Armor Set.
    • Immunity to lava and fire damage, beneficial for players without specific Talismans.
  2. Ender Armor:

    • Doubles stats in the end, making its reforges stronger than LEGENDARY Armor Sets.
    • Ideal for mid-game players focusing on oneshotting Zealots.
  3. Dragon Armors (Old, Protector, Unstable):

    • Old and Protector Dragon Armor lack extra ☠Crit Damage or ❁Strength.
    • Unstable Dragon Armor is considered an improvement over Ender Armor.
  4. Farmer Boots:

    • Decent speed source for players with a respectable Farming level.

Late Game

  1. Young Dragon Armor:

    • Focuses heavily on ✦Speed.
    • Suitable for players capable of easily oneshotting Zealots.
  2. Wise Dragon Armor:

    • Emphasizes ✎Intelligence, making it efficient for farming Zealots, especially with Magic Weapons.
  3. Strong Dragon Armor:

    • The second-best Dragon Armor for melee damage.
    • Buffs AOTE damage and teleport length for efficiency.

End Game

  1. Superior Dragon Armor:

    • The most expensive Dragon Armor with a 5% stat boost.
    • Great for Slayer Quests with extra ✯Magic Find and ♣Pet Luck.
  2. Elegant Tuxedo:

    • Best for damage but has extremely low Effective Health.
    • Recommended for rich players for Dragon and Endstone Protector fights.

Dungeons

  1. Adaptive Armor:

    • An EPIC Dungeon Armor Set that adapts to the user's class.
  2. Shadow Assassin Armor:

    • Commonly used before upgrading to expensive Wither Armor.
    • The chestplate is the most expensive part, so obtaining a Zombie Knight Chestplate first is recommended.

Slayers

Get:

  • Tarantula Armor: Effective against Tarantulas and Dragons.
  • Mastiff Armor: Highest Effective Health (EHP) against wolves and True Damage.

Don't Get:

  • Revenant Armor: Not strong, provides no damage buff, and its regeneration buff only applies to Wands of Healing.

Other

  1. Speedster Armor:

    • Considered a worse version of Young Dragon Armor. Not recommended.
  2. Lantern Helmet:

    • Useful with a high Farming level.

This comprehensive guide covers armor choices for various stages of the game, providing valuable insights for both new and experienced players in the Skyblock universe.
