What do you feed the Aether Dragon? ›

Aether Dragon is a mob added by Dragon Mounts mod. When a Dragon Egg is placed at height 170 or above in the Overworld and then right-clicked, it will become an Aether Dragon. It can be tamed after 1 hour (3 Minecraft days) using Raw Fish and given a Saddle in order to ride it.

The Aether dragon breathes fire. It lights mobs on fire, and the player can toggle if it affects blocks.

Once you have the egg place it down and right click to start hatching the egg. It takes 20 minutes for each stage (egg, baby, juvenile, and adult). You can tame the dragon by feeding it any fish(or raw meat).

The Aether are a medium sized breed with moth-like wings and a thick, fluffy body. They have four front limbs, two hind limbs, and a pair of enormous eyes that afford them a 230 degree field of vision.

If your Dragon's hunger drops below 50 points, you will get a notification that your Dragon will no longer grow unless it's fed and kept above 50 Hunger Points. Avoid having your Dragons on low Health, this will give them the "Hurt" status, disallowing them to grow until healed.

Taming, Health, and Feeding

A full-grown dragon can be tamed by feeding it raw fish. Once tamed, they may be ridden using a saddle. Dragons can be healed 4 hearts by feeding them raw fish, chicken, beef, or porkchops.

The Aether can be used for fast travel through the Overworld much like The Nether. Throughout a player's ventures, one may find dungeons of varying difficulties.

You can try to start a mineshaft as you would in the Overworld, but this can be dangerous as you may fall out of the Aether. Caves are also available and are an excellent choice to look for ore. You can also explore the Aether, looking for stray ores that are visible from the surface.

Accessories are equipment or items that can be equipped using the Accessory System. Accessories more than often will give special effects to players who equip them, from breathing underwater indefinitely to slow falling and flying for a few seconds.
