What kind of liquor is Don Pedro?
Don Pedro Brandy is made with selected reserves and aged in oak barrels the traditional way. This brandy results in complex flavors of raisin, oak and caramel.

The traditional way to serve Amarula Cream is neat over ice. However, you can also mix it with brandy and extra cream for a perfect after dinner drink—one that would fit right at home after a Thanksgiving Feast.
This truly South African drink was invented by Danny Ferris, who owned the Belinzona restaurant in Blouberg (Cape Town) in the 1970s. During a whisky distillery tour to Scotland, Danny tipped some whisky over ice cream – and thought it tasted rather good.
“Marula beer is healthy as its brewed naturally and no ingredients are added. It is better to drink marula beer which has got more health benefits than drinking sugary drinks, which only give you diabetes and other dangerous diseases,” said Nemakhavhani.
Bailey's is an emulsion of cream or milk powder, whiskey, chocolate powder and sugar. Amarula is an emulsion of cream or milk powder, fermented marula fruit and sugar. The only similarity is they are sweetened cream liqueurs.
Can you drink Amarula straight?
You can drink it straight, with hot chocolate, or with some liqueurs you may have lying around from that night you never made it to Tokyo. Pour Amarula into a chilled glass. The alcohol content is fairly low, so fill-er-up!
Amarula is a delightful exotic fruit liqueur, not as heavy as baileys because it is made from the Marula fruit, which when fermented assures you receive ample sugars during your consumption. Offsetting any relative hangover as compared to scoffing a bottle of Baileys.
