So, you're not receiving invitation emails from us? No worries! Depending on your email account's settings, our emails may be auto-routing to your junk or spam folders. It may be best for you to check these folders if you are not receiving email notifications from us.
- You can add more guests to your guest list at any time leading up to the event start date. Simply click "More" beside your invitation from the home page and click "Add Guests". You will need remaining invitation sends to add more guests.
To limit the number of guests and avoid any confusion, a line will typically be added with the number attending. Sometimes the couple will fill this out themselves or, if their guest list is a bit lenient, let the guest write in the number attending.
- Hiding your guest list will hide your guests' names, RSVPs, and any comments left at the time of RSVP. Any comments left after RSVP will show publicly on your invitation's activity feed. If you wish to disable the activity feed, please reach us HERE to make the request.
You can also find these templates by searching for "Design" in the search bar. You will be able to customize by uploading your own photo as the image background of the card and then customizing by adding your text directly on the card. To upload your own photo as the image background, click on the green camera icon.
More than half of event creators (53%) swear that Tuesday is the best day to send emails. The runners-up are Thursday (48%) and Wednesday (40%). Nearly half (48%) schedule the send for between 9 am and 1 pm.
It sounds like you may have accidentally limited your total guest list size to attend your event, to a certain amount of people. This means that only a specific number of guests are allowed to RSVP "Yes" to your invitation.
If you're planning to throw a party, let your guests know at least three to four weeks ahead of time; out-of-town guests should get a heads-up six weeks out.
What is the difference between premium and free Evite?
In addition to a more professional and elegant experience for hosts and guests, Evite Premium invitations are advertisement-free and offer users many additional features that are sure to complement any event's planning and execution. In the gallery, all Premium invitations are marked as "Premium".
Anyone who sends an Evite can know instantly who's opened it, even if the recipient hasn't yet checked one of the RSVP boxes. So if you're the kind of person who hides the fact that you check your e-mail every three seconds, give yourself a big window of time before clicking an Evite link.

Your guest will not be notified when you remove them from the guest list. Since a copy of the invitation was already sent to your guest, they will still have the invitation email in their inbox. However, this message will appear if they try to access your invitation.
Something to the effect of “We're so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest” should make it clear. Make It Clear On The RSVP.
On average, between 15 and 20 percent of guests will RSVP "no" to a wedding.
Sample wedding invitation wording for no extra guests
Due to limited seating arrangements, invitations are limited to specified guests only. We appreciate your support and appreciation of our union. We are only able to accomodate guests named on the invitations. Thank you for celebrating with us.
A guest count is a record of the number of customers in a group on the same receipt. For example, at a restaurant, the guest count would represent all of the people sitting at a table who are on the same check.
Is "_ seats have been reserved in your honor" a polite way to mention that there is limited seating available. My worry is with cultural differences when I send out our wedding invitations, some of our guest will RSVP their entire family.
So What is Guest List? For those who don't know, Guest List is a feature that many clubs offer that allow free entry (in many cases), as long as guests are dressed in line to the venue's dress code and arrive early. Using Guest List does NOT guarantee entry and can close at anytime the club decides.
When you choose Punchbowl, your invitations will have the look and feel of real paper — for FREE. You won't find that on Evite®. Instead, you'll find free generic invites that were designed for dial-up. Punchbowl® is the gold standard in online invitations.
Do people still use evites?
Evite has been around for 24 years and is still a go-to for anyone wanting to send out an emailed invite, but it can get caught in spam filters or go unread by people who don't use email for personal correspondence. Third-party tools can also unwittingly result in spam for your friends.
Reviewers felt that Eventbrite meets the needs of their business better than Evite. When comparing quality of ongoing product support, reviewers felt that Eventbrite is the preferred option. For feature updates and roadmaps, our reviewers preferred the direction of Eventbrite over Evite.
O n average, 60 percent of invited guests will show up to a party. If you invite closer friends only, about 75 percent will come. Men tend to show up less than women, so invite more guys if you want the sexes to be evenly represented.
And sometimes, people forget to RSVP altogether. So, what should you do when people don't respond to your invite? According to Emily Post, the answer is a simple one. If a guest has not RSVP'd by the deadline, it's the host's duty to pick up the phone, call the guest and ask whether or not they will be attending.
Whatever the reason, it's how you handle your RSVP status that counts. Regardless of how close you are to the couple, no-showing is NEVER appropriate. Brides and grooms pay per head at their wedding, so you ghosting them would cost a couple hundred bucks or more.
(For example, if an invitation is created on Tuesday for an event on Friday of that same week, a reminder will not be sent.) Bonus: If a guest has yet to RSVP, the email event reminder will nudge that guest to return to the invitation to do so.
By default, reminders are automatically sent 2 days before your event date, but you may also customize this. When on the "Add Guests" step of your invitation, click the "Event Reminders" bar on the right to access all of your reminder options.

Is it rude not to respond to an RSVP?
It is inconsiderate, but unfortunately common, for guests to fail to RSVP. Anyone who receives an invitation has an important obligation to reply as soon as possible.
To word this delicately, you could go with something like: “We hope you received our wedding invitation that was extended to you x weeks ago. We have not yet received an RSVP from you and we will need to get the final numbers to our venue and caterer.
