Audience Reviews for Zumbo's Just Desserts: Season 2

  • Sep 22, 2022

The last episode was more disappointing than the last season of GoT. I was so disgusted I went as far as creating a Rotten Tomatoes account just to downvote this blasphemy. Complete robbery.

  • Jan 09, 2022

They need to do blind judging as the results didn't seem to match the final products and the end result seemed disappointing.

My wife was watching it , I only saw the last 2-3 episodes.Couldn't believe they made an entire season to end it up with a rigged winner.

This season was definitely rigged, Katherine was amazing but on one episode she completely missed the element she was made the winner when she should've been bottom 2. As for the final there's no way she should've only been a point behind Scotts scoring when she forgot the granola, her bottles were on backwards and her drawer was also not all the way in like Scotts. They failed to mention that but I specifically checked to see if she made the same mistake. On the second part, yes her dessert was pretty, but they asked for bling and luxury and her dessert was not. Scott was, yes his pearl deflated a little but he delivered what they asked of and had luxury flavors just as Catherine did since thats basically made her win. They both were amazing and I wanted one of them to win but not unfairly like that. Scott definitely deserved the win. So disappointed in the show and won't be around if there's another season.

I thought it was rigged for catherine to win. She had a completely missing element in final zumbo test and still scored a 7. Should have been a 6. No way she had a 10 score on her final dessert. Boo

I just finished watching and to all the people who think it was rigged, I'm sorry but I disagree. You all fell in love with Simon due to his likeability, and he was likable. His story sweet and heart string pulling. But Catherine was ahead the entire show. Never in a zumbo test. She was young and driven and had every right to win. Simon had no fine motor skills for decorating while I think Catherine was more well rounded. So, I loved the show and I think the best desert maker won. Simon definitely deserved to be in the last 2 but I feel so did Jeff. Jeff while unlikable, in my opinion, was a little more finessed, those 2 were on a more level playing field while Catherine was miles ahead of the 2.

The show was blatantly rigged. We just finished watching Season 2 and all agreed never again. The fake baby voice contestant had to be muted. Clearly they knew who they wanted to win both seasons and manipulated the scores and rules.

  • Feb 21, 2020

The competition was clearly rigged. That ruined the entire season.

Enjoyed this show immensely until, i found out the final in season 2 was rigged. Last time i watch this show, justice for Simon!!!
