Answer 1:

Hi and thank you for your question! Most peopledigest foods from 24 to 72 hours so approximately1 to 3 days. It depends on a few things such asthe person and how healthy they are.

Let's start with what a doughnut is, a doughnut ismade up of simple carbohydrates which are digestedpretty fast in our bodies compared to more complexcarbohydrates or proteins (meat). The body digestscertain foods faster than others for example: itis easier to digest some chocolate rather thansome nuts.

The body takes in carbohydrates and breaks downinto simpler molecules and travels down. Once it'sin the stomach, and then it moves down into thesmall intestine.

After eating, it takes about 6-8 hours for food topass through the stomach and small intestine. Oncethere, it moves to the large intestine for moredigestion and then elimination of residue happensafter 24 hours, but complete elimination of thefood, or doughnut in this case, may take severaldays. Carbohydrates tend to spend the least timein the stomach and so I think out of all thefoods, doughnuts would be digested pretty quicklycompared to say, a steak. It will definitely nottake 10 days though, a good guess would be the24-72 hours.
