The Simpsons: Tapped Out Level 60 content update was released on May 18, 2016 and was the one hundred and twentyseventh content update. It added a new character, a new skin, 2 new buildings and 6 new decorations. It's the last level update of the game.

Early Access[edit]

The "Early Access" feature was first implemented in the "Clown in the Dumps" episode tie-in, to let players at a lower level, Level 6, get limited-time access to higher-level items. Many items in previous levels, and sometimes during events, have received this feature.

	"Dear Tapped Out: Will I get a refund for my unused donuts?"
	Of course. Each donut will be refunded for its actual real-world value: zero.
	Or you can use them to buy fun premium stuff!
	All of which also has a real-world value of zero.
	"Dear Tapped Out, does this mean I can finally stop playing?"
	Sure. While you're at it, you should also stop drinking, gambling and chewing nicotine gum.
	Then you can sit back proudly with all the money you've saved, and be REALLY REALLY bored.

	To get the sugar. Now that there's no more levels, the sugar's worth more than the donuts.
	Whoa! The levels might be over, but the game isn't.
	Duh-wahhhh? What do you mean?
	There will still be regular updates featuring new characters and buildings. But everyone will get to play them at once, no matter what level they've reached!
	...
	Pretty good idea, huh?
	THAT'S THE STUPIDEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!
	Well, I think it's great. We can finally take the game back from the 1%!
	The 1%?
	The 1% of gamers who actually bother to play past Level 15. This new system will even the playing field!
	And best of all, the new levels will be subsidized for poorer players by a tax on the highest level players!

	Tapped Out players: please be advised that the part in the last scene about taxing higher level players was a joke. You've been given your $1,000 back.
	Ha! I knew this whole thing was a hoax! It was probably the April Fool's update that accidentally got released early. Or late. What month is this?
	Actually, the level updates ending wasn't a hoax. There really won't be any more. You'll still be able to "level up," but you won't get any new buildings or characters by doing so.
	So there are still "levels"... but all they are is a meaningless number?
	That's right. And as a sign of gratitude, you'll also get a small prize.
	...
	THIS IS THE WORST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO THIS GAME!

• The max level was set to 939, with levels 61 to 939 all giving 1 donuts each as level up bonus. Upon reaching Level 939, bonus donuts are given out as normal.
• A Gil Offer for Duff Gardens was added and is available for all Level 60 users, after completing Card Handy Pt. 8, and for a limited time between May 18th and June 1st at 7am GMT for all users that are level 12 or above.
• A glitch with the Tailgate not upgrading was fixed.
• Western Snake was removed from the Town Hall Census.
• A glitch that made Craze starters stuck was solved.
• A glitch that started different acts during the Wild West event was fixed.
• A glitch that gets towns stuck after levelling up too fast past Level 60 was introduced.

May 19th Update ("4_20_WiseGuy_Patch_1")[edit]

• Building Googolplex now yields 18,200 instead of 46,300.
• XP needed for levelling up between Level 61 and 100 is now set to 40,000.
• XP needed for levelling up between Level 101 and 939 is now set to 500,000.
• XP needed for bonus level up after Level 939 is now set to 1,000,000.
