FMO is seeking a lawyer from Ukraine to join our team. We currently have an one-year (external) contract available for an experienced lawyer unable to continue their current position as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war. This vacancy for a Legal Counsel is open for candidates looking to relocate, or who have recently relocated to, the Netherlands. Meaningful experience in finance (corporate debt, structured finance or private equity) is required. We have a preference for someone with expertise in agriculture finance, but the personal circ*mstances of the applicant will also be a factor. Excited to announce that from January 1st, I have taken on a new role as Manager Legal for Private Equity and Structured Finance at FMO (the Dutch Development Bank). Impact investing has never been more relevant and FMO continues to be a leader and innovator in creating positive social, environmental and economic change through sustainable targeted investment in emerging markets. Our legal team plays a foundational role in this work and I am unreasonably excited to be leading such an incredible group of lawyers.
