Rufus Goldworthy is the second homeless character you meet who makes his first appearance in Chapter 1. He returns in Chapter 2 to pitch an idea for a new app and is briefly mentioned at the beginning of Chapter 3. He is the founder of ZaZoom and the company's CEO.

He has light brown hair parted to the left and an unkempt beard. He wears a dark brown, worn jacket over a gray shirt.
If he is successful in launching his startup business, he shows up with a fresh haircut and trimmed beard. He will be wearing a blue dress shirt with a pair of black aviator sunglasses hanging from the front pocket.
Personality[]
Rufus has shown himself to be a straightforward, honest, and generous person. He admits early on that he is trying to get his life back together and asks for help. Later, if you help him with his startup business, he shows he is willing to pay back your kindness even if it means he will have to find a new place to sleep and skip meals for a month. Once his business takes off, he ultimately reimburses more than your initial investment to show his gratitude.

It is not revealed how he became homeless, but during a Pizza News Network story about him an anchor says he has been homeless for years.

Chapter 1[]

Rufus comes to the pizzeria several times in Chapter 1. Each time, he will ask for a free pizza as he does not have the means to support himself yet. Near the end of the chapter, he will visit once more and say that things are a lot better, and he will give you 50
for helping him out.
Chapter 2[]

Rufus will make another appearance in Chapter 2, although he is no longer begging for food. He will ask for a pizza on the house to help him collect data for an app idea he has come up with recently. On his next visit to the pizzeria, Rufus will say he has hit a major breakthrough thanks to the pizza, but he needs 100 to help Pizzapedia finally get its worldwide release.[1]
The next time Rufus returns, he has bad news. Unfortunately, things did not pan out with the app release. He offers 50 back, otherwise you can let him keep the money. If he keeps it, he will be grateful, saying he will not have to find a new place to sleep or skip meals that month.
When Rufus returns again, he announces that he has come up with another business idea. He asks for 150 to get it going. His new idea is for a delivery app, which he is more than confident will be a success. If given money, Rufus will thank you profusely and give you a poster advertising the upcoming app to hang on the wall of the pizzeria, unlocking the ZaZoom Poster.
On his last visit, Rufus shows up to the pizzeria with a clean haircut and sporting new clothes. He thanks you once more, admitting if it was not for your help, he might still be living on the streets. He will give you 340 at the end for helping him get his new app off the ground, which he says will do wonders for the pizzeria's business.

He is mentioned in Chapter 3 when you receive the free Pizza Warmer upgrade and ZaZoom app on the MyPad.
