Let’s see the downfall of this IT company that once ruled the Internet

Let me ask you a simple question, do you know the capital of Kazakhstan? If you don’t know the answer I am pretty sure you might just find it in less than a second by just Googling it. The capital of Kazakhstan is Nur-Sultan and it took me 0.66 seconds to get the results from Google Search.
To be honest, I use google more than any other website and I just can’t think of any other search engine better than Google. But did you know there was a time when another search engine place ruled the Internet? I am sure you might have guessed it if now let me tell you it was Yahoo!
What would’ve preferred between Yahoo! and Google? If you ask me, I would prefer Google because of its Friendly UI and high range of services. Let’s discuss the downfall of Yahoo I know even google has failed many times with its innovation but it is still among the most popular websites currently.

The name sounds super fancy and many might know it simply stands for “Yet Another Hierarchically Organized Oracle”. Yahoo was founded in 1994 by Jerry Yang and David Filo.
Yahoo is basically an American web service provider which has primarily search engine and email services. It also operates other services like News and Advertising platform.
Yahoo search engine was one of the popular websites in early 1995 which allowed users to search in the Internet directory directly. Yahoo later started providing free email service in 1997 by acquiring RocketMail and renaming it Yahoo mail.
According to a report, Yahoo search engine used Google Search Engine technology till 2000 by default and seeing its popularity it developed its own search engine and started using its own search engine in 2004.
