The Potion Shop is a location from The Legend of Zelda. It is where Link can purchase Life Potion or 2nd Potion.
Each Potion Shop contains an Old Woman as its merchant. However, the Old Woman in these Potion Shops will not speak to Link. Link must first obtain the Letter from the Old Man. After showing this letter to the Old Woman, the Potions are then available for sale.

Potion Shop Locations
There are 7 Potion Shop locations in the main quest, with 9 locations in the Second Quest.
First Quest
Location: Northeast corner.
Conditions: None.
- From the start screen head right one screen, up five screens, right five screens, up one, right one, and up a screen. Here you will find the Letter from the Old Man to give to the Old Woman.
Location: South Central Hyrule.
Conditions: None.
- From the start screen head up one screen and left three screens.
Location: Southeast Hyrule.
Conditions: After obtaining the Blue Candle or the Red Candle.
- From the start screen head right one screen.
- Use the candle to burn the 2nd from the left tree near the bottom.
Location: South Central Hyrule.
Conditions: After obtaining the Blue Candle or the Red Candle.
- From the start screen head right four screens and up three screens.
- On the right side of the screen, use the candle to burn the tree that is third from the top on the left side.
Location: Northeastern Death Mountain.
Conditions: After obtaining the Bombs.
- From the start screen head right a screen, up five screens, right five screens, and up two screens.
- Place a bomb against the rocks in the middle along the flat section.
Location: One screen north of Level 1: The Eagle.

- Place a bomb against the rocks at the far right of the screen to reveal a cave.

- Place a bomb against the rocks right in the middle of the two sets of stairs.
Location: Central Death Mountain.

- Exit the graveyard to the right and continue right another screen. Head up along the right side, right two screens, up one, right two, up one, and left three screens.
Second Quest
Location: One screen north of the Graveyard.
Conditions: After obtaining the Power Bracelet.
- Exit the graveyard to the right and continue right another screen. Head up along the right side, right a screen, up one, left one, up one, left two, and down a screen.
- Use the Power Bracelet to push the block on the left down. This will reveal a staircase where the Old Man is located.
Location: South Central Hyrule.
Conditions: None.
- From the start screen head up one screen and left three screens.
Location: One screen right of the start screen.
Conditions: After obtaining the Blue Candle or the Red Candle.
- From the start screen head right one screen.
- Use the candle to burn the 2nd tree from the left near the bottom.
Location: South Central Hyrule.
Conditions: After obtaining the Blue Candle or the Red Candle.
- From the start screen head right four screens and up three screens.

- Play the whistle on this screen and a staircase will appear in the middle of the screen.
Location: Western Hyrule.

- Exit the graveyard to the right and continue right another screen.
- Place a bomb against the rocks right in the middle of the two sets of stairs.
