How to make a payment using online banking

  1. SelectTransfer & payat the top of the page,then selectPay bills.
  2. Choose the bill(s) you'd like to pay.
  3. Select the payment date and amount for each bill you'd like to pay.
  4. Choose the checking or savings account to pay from.
  5. SelectReview & pay, thenPayto confirm your payment.

How to make a payment using the U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. From the dashboard, selectPay bills & transfer, then choosePay a bill.
  2. Select the credit account you'd like to pay, then choosePayon the next screen.
  3. SelectPay this amount.Here, you'll enter or choose how much you'd like to pay and selectSave.
    Optional:
    SelectDeliver payment byif you want to change the date, then selectSave.
  4. Choose the checking or savings account to pay from, then selectSave.
  5. SelectPay nowto confirm your payment.

To transfer money using online banking

  1. SelectTransfer & pay, External transfers & wires, then choose Transfer money.
  2. Choose which account you'd like to transfer money from and to.
  3. Enter the amount and select the date of your transfer (if it's other than today), then choose Send transfer.
    Optional:
    • To set up recurring payments, select the checkbox next to "Repeat this transfer". Choose the frequency and when to stop it.
    • Add a memo.
  4. Review your transfer details and if everything is correct, selectSend transfer.

To transfer money using the U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. SelectPay bills & transfer at the bottom of the dashboard, thenTransfer money.
  2. Choose which accounts you'd like to transfer from and to.
  3. Enter the amount and select the date of your transfer (if it's other than today), then choose Transfer $.
    Optional: To set up recurring payments, use the toggle switchnext to "Repeat this transfer". Choose the frequency and when to stop it.
  4. Review the details of your transfer, select Transfer $to confirm.

Please note, overdraft protection requires the same owners to be on the deposit account and the overdraft protection account(s).

Online banking

  1. SelectCustomer Serviceat the top of the page, then chooseSelf Service.
  2. Select theOverdraft optionswithin the Deposit Account & Check/ATM Cardssection.
  3. Scroll to select Overdraft Protectionat the bottom of the page.
  4. Choose the checking account you'd like to have covered.
  5. SelectEditto choose the overdraft protection account(s), then selectSave.

U.S. Bank Mobile App

  1. From the dashboard, select the account you’d like covered.
  2. ChooseAccount options, then selectView account information.
  3. ChooseOverdraft Protection.
  4. SelectAdd/Editto choose the overdraft protection account(s).
  5. Hold and drag the account to change the overdraft protection order. SelectSave.

More information

You can link up to three eligible1 accounts and you can choose which one transfers funds first, second, and third. If you don’t choose the order, then funds are taken using the order in which the accounts were added.

You can choose to have overdraft coverage and overdraft protection for the same account. Overdraft protection will be tried first. If there’s not enough funds available in the overdraft protection account, then standard overdraft coverage applies. Refer to Your Deposit Account Agreement, section titled “Overdraft Protection Plans,” for more information.

1Eligible accounts that can function as overdraft protection are listed below.

  • Savings and money markets.
  • Secondary personal checking.
  • Personal credit cards.
  • Reserve, personal, or home equity lines of credit.

Setting up autopay is easier than ever. When you've gone through the process, we'll provide you a confirmation page to review. It'll tell you when the first payment starts, how much is being paid, and what date it'll be paid each month.

To set up autopay using digital banking

  1. Online banking: SelectTransfer & payat the top of the page, then choosePay bills.
    U.S. Bank Mobile App: SelectPay bills & transferat the bottom of the dashboard, then choosePay a bill.
  2. Select the account you want automatically paid, by clicking on it, then chooseAutopay set up now(found on the right side of the page).
  3. Optional: We encourage you to review the terms of service before starting autopay.
  4. Provide the following information.
    • Pay this amount/Amount to pay: Choose how much to pay.
      Options include minimum payment, statement balance, minimum payment with extra, or other amount.
    • Send payments before or on due date/Make payments: Choose when you'd like the payment to be delivered.
      This is considered the day the payment is made, also known as the transaction date.
    • Pay from: Choose the account to pay from.
      If you're paying from anexternal account, you'll need to add it to your list of external payment accounts before setting up autopay.
  5. SelectContinueto review your autopay settings. If they look good, chooseStart autopay.

Get a payoff on your loan or line of credit whenever it's convenient for you.

How to get a payoff using digital banking

  1. Choose the loan or line of credit you'd like the payoff for.
  2. Online banking: SelectRequest a payoff quotefrom the“Shortcuts”menu on the right.
    U.S. Bank Mobile App: Select Manage at the top of the screen, then choose Request payoff quote.
  3. Enter a date within the next 30 days and chooseRequest payoff quote.
  4. Your payoff quote will display. Choose to have it sent to you via email ordownload a PDFto save the quote.

How to add or remove account alerts using online banking

  1. Choose an account from your dashboard then select the Account services tab.
  2. From the Alerts & notifications section select Account alerts.
  3. Select Account activityfrom the "Notifications" menu on the left.
  4. Choosethe tab that works best for you.
    • Quick setup: recommend alerts based on the account type.
    • All settings: All available alerts for the specific account.
  5. Select thechevron(>) to the left of the alert name to expand the details.
  6. Use thetoggle buttonsto turn the alert on or off on.
  7. You'll need to repeat these steps for each account. Select a different account from the drop down in the top right corner.
