Do street names make a difference in a real estate sale? A 2012 study suggests they can. Though there could be myriad reasons for this, the most commonly held thought is that many towns had a Main Street instead of a First Street, but almost all towns—whether they were Main Street towns or First Street towns—had Second Streets.
