A New Look for Online and Mobile Banking Is Here!

At Northwest Bank, we’re always looking for ways to make banking better, which is why we offer an enhanced digital experience that gives you the freedom to bank when and where you want. Along with our updated look, a new version of the Northwest mobile banking app will be released. To take advantage of these enhancements, you’ll need to update the Northwest mobile banking app on your mobile device when prompted.

New features include:

  • A refreshed look and feel across the online and mobile experience, included an updated landing page
  • Streamlined transfer information, now in two tabs — Scheduled Transfers and Transfer History
  • External Transfer and Deposit Only accounts now on one page, where you easily see and manage them

Important update: iOS users will need to reestablish face ID or fingerprint authentication for your Northwest App.

Text Banking

Another fast and easy way to bank, Text Banking allows you to complete simple transactions through your device’s SMS messaging app.

To enroll in Northwest Bank Text Banking*, log into Online Banking. After completing the enrollment process, you’ll be ready to take the following actions by using the appropriate commands:

  • Check balances: Text BAL to 26790 to return all accounts. Or text BALANCE followed by the appropriate account nickname to return a specific account.
  • View transactions: Text HIST followed by the account nickname to 26790.
  • Transfer between accounts: Text XFER followed by “from” account nickname and the “to” account nickname and the amount.
  • Request assistance: Text HELP to 26790.
  • Opt-out of mobile banking: Text STOP to 26790 to opt-out.
