Things to Know About Depositing Checks

You can deposit any type of check from a U.S. institution in U.S. Dollars using Mobile Check Deposit, as long as it is made payable to you and endorsed accordingly. Hold on to your check for 45 days to ensure proper processing, then rip it up and discard.

The first $225 of your deposit made before 3:30 p.m. ET on a business day will be available in your account by the end of the same business day with the remaining funds available by the end of the next business day.

The first $225 of your deposit made after 3:30 p.m. ET on a business day will be available in your account by the end of the next business day with the remaining funds available by the end of the following business day.

For example: If you submit a $1,000 check at 6:00 p.m. ET on a Monday, you’ll have access to the first $225 by the end of the day Tuesday and the remaining $775 by the end of the day Wednesday.

Any non-holiday, weekday is considered a business day.

There are certain scenarios where we might place an extended hold on your check. We will let you know when those situations arise.

Points:

A point is equal to one percent of the principal amount of your mortgage. For example, if you get a mortgage for $100,000, one point means you pay $1000 to the lender. These points are usually collected at closing and may be paid by the borrower or the home seller, or may be split between them.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR):

A rate that reflects the actual annual cost of a loan and includes the loan interest rate, private mortgage insurance, points and some fees.

Loan Assumptions and Disclosures

These sample rates are published weekdays at 10:00am EST.

The information provided is general and assumes only the following scenario:
