Where is Madurodam?
Madurodam is situated in Scheveningen, a town connected to The Hague. From Amsterdam to the Hague will take you approximately 50 minutes by train.
Is it possibleto visitMadurodamin awheelchair?
Yes, the whole park including restaurants and toilets are accessible for wheelchair users. A limited amount of wheelchairs is available at the entrance of the park. If you need a wheelchair, you can make a reservation by phone: +31 70 41 62 400.
What facilities do you have in Madurodam to eat?
In Madurodam you’ll find one big Restaurant called “Taste of Holland”, which offers a variety of complete meals mainly with local ingredients but also sandwiches or a simple hamburger. Furthermore, near the playground, you’ll find the Panorama Cafe where you can have a coffee with a refreshment such as apple pie, ice cream, and luxury sandwiches. Like any other theme park, however, food is quite costly. If you want to save money it’s perfectly fine to bring your own food and have little picknick somewhere.
Can I bring a stroller into Madurodam?
Sure! The park is fully accessible with a stroller.
What scale are the models in the miniature park?
All objects in Madurodam have beenbuilt at a scale of 1:25. This is not just for the buildings but also decorations such as miniature trees and residents.
