Had an amazing experience with M&S Pet Insurance.
Had an amazing experience with M&S Pet Insurance. I’ve used the advice line a couple of times, which has been very useful. Claiming for treatment is simple, just scan and upload receipts and in my case payments were made same day. Really great service. Reviewed on: 30th January 2024
Worthless rip off Used buried 'terms and conditions' to refuse claim

Rip off. Refused claim for dental work as in buried terms and conditions says its not covered unless your cat has had its teeth checked within 12 months. I mean who can afford to take pet for annual teeth check. I can only presume the use that clause to not pay out for various other emergencies. Rip off and rubbish Reviewed on: 7th September 2023
Fraudulent?

We have paid a monthly premium for the past 8 years, never made a claim. Our dog has an acute dental issue and MnS refuse to cover. Why do I believe this is fraudulent? I'll explain. They declined based on an entry in 2019 that referred to plaque. No detail stating Dental Work to be carried out, and the conversation was advice to try and prevent plaque getting worse.Go to now and he has infection and they refer back to an entry from 2019.Now, here's the issue. In 2019 Covid 19 hit and even if dental work had been advised, which it didn't, then vets were only undertaking Emergency treatment and hence no routine appointments.Yet MnS took full premium throughout Covid 19 knowing that part of the premium was to cover dental and it wasn't available. How can a company charge for something that globally isn't available?I find this disgraceful and this will be the case for thousands of pet owners.Avoid MnS, they are no better than a thief on the street.I will be seeking legal advice, we know have a 9 year old dog in acute pain and who needs urgent help and they won't cover him. Subsequent to this he will need ongoing vets appointments for infection and jaw deterioration, and possible sepsis and organ failure, all of which will require claims to be made. So quality of life will disappear altogether because he cannot eat, and they have basically given him a death sentence.Disgusting, please check your policy and also ensure your vets does accurate case notes because they are often vague and inaccurate.Interestingly the vets still want the business, funny that.!! I’ve used this product for many years for several cats I’ve had. The premium is very reasonable with low excess and you can choose the level of cover. Swift processing and payment for existing conditions. Highly recommend. Reviewed on: 24th August 2023
