    Yavuz Olken, a member of the board at the Insurance Association of Turkey, said that sales of insurance policies jumped immediately after the deadly earthquakes that struck the country in February 2023, but the spike lasted just three months, Middle East Insurance Review reported. Mr. Olken also said that the Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool had a coverage rate of only 60%.
