Hello“I gladly invite you” - does that sound native?I personally think that it is not correct to say or write so..It would definitely be better to wite smth like: I am happy/ glad to invite you to join my party or whatever....Is it right to use this phrase in an official invitation???ThanksKate

I agree with you that "I gladly invite you" does not sound natural to a native speaker. "I am happy to invite..." is the best phrase and is completely proper and acceptable in an official invitation. I personally do not think "I am glad to invite you..." sounds natural either.
