My mom used to hide things there when I was little. You know… that space above the fridge that no one sees and is hard to reach so you don’t really know what to put there?
I eventually caught on and would climb up on the counter and look there and would find all kinds of interesting treasures like birthday gifts and money. (I hope my Mom isn’t reading this).
Seriously though, that awkward space above the fridge is often times the most wasted yet valuable space in the home.
