It really can’t be that hard and I usually just make baked bananas. Frozen bananas are not only great for baking but they’re also perfect for making adelicious strawberry protein shake (adding banana of course!).

Really, the only thing I would not recommend using them for is just straight up eating because freezing them does make them soft and a little mushy. Which is not the most appetizing experience!

Ingredients

  • 4 Large ripe bananas (or as many as you want)

Instructions

  • Peel the bananas and slice them vertically into coins, just under 1/2 inch thick.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the bananas in a single, even row onto the baking sheet

  • Place into the freezer and freeze until the bananas are firm, at least 2 hours. I usually do overnight.

  • Once frozen, place the bananas into a large, zip-loc bag.

  • Store in the freezer and use as needed!
