- How to eat your croissant the French way?
Posted by KITCHEN FRENCH SWEET
Anywhere in the world, the French are often considered as very distinguished and romantique but when it comes to eating their croissant, there’s nothing elegant anymore!
There is probably plenty of ways to eat your croissant but here at the French Sweet HQ we all agree on one technique: deeping it into your drink!
Now! We know this can be a very controversial topic. Not later than yesterday, one of our Instagram follower who is french said it was a no go! According to her, when you dip your croissant, you loose the crunchiness and butterness (she made this word). Well it’s true but that’s for the better you gotta trust us on this one:-D I mean at the end of the day, aren’t you guy ok to loose the crunchy texture of your Tim Tam when you dip it in your Milo? Isn’t amazingly tastfulthough? Well it’s the same here:-D
Anyways this is how you need to proceed. First, you need to take your time. You don’t want to eat a croissant “ on the run “. You want to savoure every minute of it.
Take a cup and fill it with a coffee, a tea or hot chocolate! Hot chocolate is definitely your best option. Then start eating the croissant, first cutting the tips, representing a tier of the croissant.
Finally eat the middle of the croissant in small parts and of course DIPPING every bit of the croissant in your beverage.
Try it once and adopt it, as we say in French ! :)
The best ways to have a croissant in our opinion:
- on saturday or sunday, get up early before everybody else, get your french breakfast box delivered, and make everyone happy when they get up. You’ll be the hero of the day! Show them our little dipping trick and you’ll become the favourite member of your family!
