How to see who viewed an invitation on Evite? ›

Once a guest opens and views your invitation, your guest list will show Viewed XX minutes ago or Viewed XX days ago directly under the guest's name on the guest list.

✅ 👀 What Is the Difference Between 'Delivered' and 'Viewed'? Delivered means the invite was sent and we received a confirmation from their carrier. Viewed means they opened the link in the text and viewed the web invite, opened an email invite or viewed the invite in the app.

You heard me right. Anyone who sends an Evite can know instantly who's opened it, even if the recipient hasn't yet checked one of the RSVP boxes. So if you're the kind of person who hides the fact that you check your e-mail every three seconds, give yourself a big window of time before clicking an Evite link.

People who have seen their personal event invitation in their notifications but haven't responded will appear on the INVITED list with a Seen sign and a checkmark below their name. If you don't see the Seen sign, this person has not seen their invitation yet.

“Delivered” means that the phone has received the message. “Read” means that the person has read the message. People, though, can turn off “Send Read Receipts”, which means that even if they have read the message, it won't actually show the “Read” message to the other person (the sender of the message).

You will only see a status of Delivered, which means that your message has reached their phone, but not necessarily that they have opened it. The only way to get read receipts for SMS messages is to use a third-party app that supports them, such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Signal.

If you see this icon in the RSVP column for a guest: This indicates the guest responded "Decide Later" and set a reminder to RSVP at a later time. This is similar to a “maybe” response.

Does Evite resend an invitation? ›

We do not currently offer a resend option, but we have some workarounds we suggest to help you get your invitation resent to your guests. You can learn more below: You can send your guests a message through Evite by going to the Manage Event page and using the Send a Message option.

The most common reasons are: The email address is incorrect (typo, incorrect domain, etc.) The email is no longer active. The guest you are trying to add has an Evite account with an old email address saved as the primary, which causes the invitation email to bounce back.

Typically, save the dates will not include an RSVP functionality—but Paperless Post will automatically track opens, so you can tell who has and hasn't viewed your save the date.

The event host has the option to hide the guest list at any time before the event date. Hiding the guest list will hide the guest names from other guests, but they will remain visible to the host. We never share guest's contact information, regardless of the privacy settings.
