The app store can be so overwhelming with different apps to try. If you are anything like the average millennial, you love anything that makes your life a little easier! When I first started downloading money apps, I was hesitant because it seemed like there were so many! There are 100 different apps that do essentially the same thing, so I have picked through a few of my favorites for cash back, making money, and savings you money! This post does contain affiliate or referral links that give me a little bonus if you do use the links to sign up. If you do use any of them, I greatly appreciate it!

Here are a list of my favorite financial apps that I LOVE!

Ibotta

It is no secret that I love Ibotta. I have shared this multiple times on Instagram. Ibotta is a grocery rebate app. I am all about saving money on groceries. Instead of saving money up front like with coupons, it is a receipt scanning app. The app will pay you for scanning your receipt when you purchase certain items. I love Ibotta because there are a ton of different things on there. Alcohol, produce, meat, frozen foods, and household items can all be found with rebates. Checking it regularly can mean getting cash back on things that you are already getting! When you sign up for Ibotta, you will get a $10 welcome bonus when you redeem your first rebate! (Who can beat free $10!)

Fetch Rewards

Fetch Rewards app allows you to scan any receipt for some cash back! They take just about any spending from any store. You can also connect your e-mail or Amazon to get all of your electronic receipts. I like Fetch Rewards because I don’t have to look for specific deals or items to get a little bonus! There are items that do have a little bit more cash back. Fetch rewards can be cashed out for a ton of different gift cards! They just make it so simple! Sign up for Fetch Rewards for a welcome bonus!

Rakuten

Rakuten is a great application to use on your computer and your phone! It is set up to give you cash back for almost all online shopping that you do! You can install the browser extension and it will pop up whenever you are on a website that offers cash back! I have earned $75 cash back without even trying! You can sign up for Rakuten today and get a $10 welcome bonus when you spend your first $25 with them, or check out my full review of how I saved money using Ebates when I bought my new phone!

Field agent

Field agent is an awesome mystery shopping app! This one I have found is really dependent on your area, but it can be awesome for trying free things. They often have mystery shopping or reviewing for energy drinks, food, or alcohol. The best part, they reimburse you for your item and pay you to review it! The app tells you exactly what you need to do and gives you a step by step process for each question! This is a great way to try new things and make a little money for it! Sign up here for a little welcome bonus!

Groupon

Groupon is an app that finds you great discounts on tickets and adventures in your local area! They have entertainment, restaurants, and different goods on there as well! Probably one of my favorite “fun” apps. I use Groupon all of the time! I have used it most recently for mini golf, wine tasting, and a riverboat adventure! Go check out Groupon and see what cool adventures you can go on in your area (or while you are on vacation) for a discount!

UpSide

Upside is a gas cash back app that can be used to save money at the pump! I love this app because I just connect my card that I am paying with and choose the gas station! Upside does the rest! Gas is already expensive and not my favorite purchase to make, so getting a little bonus every time I fill up makes it a little less painful. Sign up for a little welcome bonus!

Credit Karma

Credit Karma has been a lifesaver when it comes to my credit. Because I plan on buying a house someday, I am still slightly obsessed with my credit score! Credit Karma updates every 7 days, so if your credit accounts are updating, you can see a weekly update of your credit score. Gone are the days of only knowing what your credit score is once or twice a year or when applying for credit

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is sort of like Ebates with a ton of other additional features. There are a ton of cash-back offers on different websites, but it also offers a ton of surveys! I have Swagbucks as my search engine as well, so I get a few extra points for every day I use my search engine! Swagbucks also offers discounts and cash back on some gift card purchases! I purchase gift cards for different restaurants and get points that I can turn in for even more gift cards! Swagbucks offers gift cards for Amazon, Wal-mart, and Target as well as a ton of other different places! Sign up today to get started earning Swagbucks for surveys and shopping!

Wal-Mart Groceries

I LOVE my Wal-Mart app I have been using Wal-Mart groceries to order my groceries online and pick up for FREE. There is no extra fee to have them do your shopping for you! They have specific parking spots for pick up, so there is no searching for parking! I love being able to pick up my groceries when I am on the run! You can order them online or through the app on your phone!

Starbucks

Okay, this one is probably my biggest weakness and tip. Starbucks app allows you to get “stars” for every dollar that you spend from the app. Once you collect a certain amount of stars, you get a free drink! You can also order your drink ahead of time so you just walk into the store and get your drink and go. It works by uploading your gift cards to the app and then you pay through the gift cards. I am a coffee addict and I get a Starbucks every Saturday morning using free gift cards from credit card points, Ibotta, or Swagbuck. Saturdays are usually my 16 hour workdays and it is also my “Friday.” Starbucks is my sweet treat for making it through the week! With a combination of these apps, I have gotten FREE Starbucks for almost the last year!

Apps can be so handy to just have right on your phone and ready to use when you are out instead of needing your computer for everything.

If I missed your favorite app, please give me a shout-out and tell me what it is so I can check it out! I might just not be using it yet!

Save this pin for later or share it with a friend!
