Elissa Wayne: 1999 - 2017[]
Elissa is the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Princess Diana of Themyscira. Yes, that's right. Elissa is the daughter of Batman and Wonder Woman. But here's the thing. It's not the Batman and Wonder Woman that you would think. The Bruce Wayne that is her father is not the same Bruce Wayne that I trained under to become a properly trained Batgirl and later Oracle.
The Diana that is Elissa's mother was born on Paradise Island, shaped from clay by her mother Queen Hippolyta and given life by the Gods of Olympus. So, how is that possible? Well, I am not exactly sure how this happened, but Elissa is from a different world, a different version of our Earth, in a whole different reality. But we'll get to that later. Let's talk about Elissa.
So, like I said, Elissa of Themyscira is the daughter of Princess Diana of Themyscira and Bruce Wayne. Born and raised on Paradise Island, in the nation of Themyscira for 16 years until she took her mother's armor, stole an invisible airplane, and ran away to Man's World to fight evil as Wonder Woman.
After her first adventure, Elissa took on a new identity, unique to her, as Golden Angel. Elissa briefly served with the "Teen Titans," not our Titans, but it was soon discovered that she had a difficult time working with her peers, especially taking orders from them, and quit the team. So, yeah, definitely sounds like the child of a Bruce Wayne, huh?
So, Elissa went back home to attend high school and took on an identity as Elissa Madding, the "sister" of fashion designer Stacy Madding, a friend of her mother (I had Tim look into this. Stacy Madding doesn't seem to exist in our reality). In her off-time, Elissa spent her time defending her city as both Golden Angel, working closely with the police to fight crime. There were even times, when she would be called upon by her reality's version of the Justice League to assist with missions as needed.
Then, out of nowhere, one day when Elissa was wrapping up an armed robbery while on summer break, Elissa saw a strange woman fall from the sky and land on the beach.[1]
