Hi, I'm playing Monk with Way of Shadow Monastric Tradition, and at 3rd level it gives Shadow Arts which allows me to use Minor Illusion Cantrip.
I've heardfrom my playmatesthat only spellcasters like wizards and warlocks can use cantrips unlimitedly. I'm not certain if that is true, tho.
Could someone dispel the doubts?

If there are limits to its usage, the feature will tell you. Otherwise, the general rule is cantrips don't have a limited use and can be used at will. The way of shadow monk can use minor illusion an unlimited number of times per day without using ki.

Any character can cast any cantrips they know at will and an unlimited number of times, unless the feature that lets them cast it specifically says otherwise. I can't think of any feature that does limit a cantrip, but it might exist somewhere. Default is unlimited.

Keep in mind that some races have cantrips available to them all the time, regardless of class. High Elf gets a free cantrip from the wizard spell list. Tiefling (Asmodean Tiefling from Xanathar's Guide to Everything) gets Thaumaturgy. Some feats give access to cantrips. The way that rules go in D&D is that specific beats general. The general rule says that cantrips are at will (meaning no resources, save material components that are consumed, which I can't think of any cantrips that consume materials). A specific rule would be something like, "you may use 1 ki point to cast blade ward". Even though blade ward is a cantrip, this example would make it behave otherwise.
