<Points of Currency Exchange Shops>

• Currency exchanges at foreign currency shops can use only cash (Yen). We do not handle coins in foreign currencies.
• Please be aware that Following maximum amounts have been set for certain currency exchange transactions under anti-money laundering.
  
  Yen to Foreign currency : Up to 1,000,000 Yen
  
  Foreign currency to Yen: Up to 300,000 Yen
  
  For transactions over above amounts (up to a maximum of 2 million Yen at currency exchange shops), the customer must provide documentation to prove their identity and the purpose of the foreign currency transaction. Even when such documentation is presented, depending on the stated purpose of the currency exchange, it may not be possible to complete the transaction.
• The details of our currency exchange services may change without prior notice.
• We may not be able to handle certain currency exchange transactions depending on the monetary amount or the type of currency. Please inquire at one of our currency exchange shops for details regarding accepted amounts and currencies.
• The maximum monetary amounts that can be purchased or sold are indicated below based on the limits on monetary amounts that can be brought into or taken out of the respective countries.
  

1. Indonesian Rupiah: Up to 99,999,999 Indonesia Rupiah per person
2. Chinese Yuan: Up to 20,000 Chinese Yuan per person
3. Malaysian Ringgit: Up to 1,000 Malaysian Ringgits per person
4. Taiwan Dollar: 100,000 Taiwan Dollars per person
5. Philippine Peso: Up to 50,000 Philippine Pesos per person
   

• Please be aware that if you wish to carry cash of a value exceeding 1 million Yen across an international border entering or exiting Japan, you will be required to comply with customs procedures.
• You may be required to report the value of the cash upon entering or exiting certain countries based on that country’s regulations.
• We may not be able to accommodate your requested currency depending on our currency inventory.
• We do not handle coins in foreign currencies.
• Please be aware that if foreign currency does not pass our anti-counterfeit check, it will not be possible to complete a request to exchange that foreign currency for Yen.
• Buying and selling rates offered by Mizuho Bank are based on Mizuho Bank TTM rates (i.e. middle prices or mean prices) adjusted by currency exchange rate spreads for each currency. Mizuho Bank’s currency exchange rate spread is 3 Yen per US Dollar and 6 Yen per Euro. For other foreign currencies, please inquire at one of our currency exchange shops.
