Companies use commercial credit to fund daily operations and new business opportunities, purchase equipment, or cover unexpected expenses. OCC's commercial credit division provides information and policy guidance on emerging commercial risks and supervisory issues confronting the national banking industry to promote national bank safety and soundness, as well as compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
