Even though I mostly love making cake from scratch, sometimes a box mix does come in handy.
And this is the brand I’ve used since 2008.

It’s true, you just can’t go wrong with our homemade cake recipes with no egg or milk.
But it’s also nice to have a box mix to use in a pinch.
For years, thankfully, Duncan Hines has been known for making cake mixes free from milk and egg.
Many of them also work for our pesky nut allergy.
We just make the cakes according to the box instructions.
That means we add oil, water, and egg to the mix…because my boys both outgrew egg allergies as toddlers.
However, if you can’t have egg, you may still be able to enjoy these mixes in other easy recipes!
EGG-FREE RECIPES USING CAKE MIX
If you CAN do egg, you may enjoy the ease of making dairy-free cake with these cake mixes, too.
But since we haven’t tried every Duncan Hines cake mix, I’m not sure that all are dairy-free.
Of course, check labels for yourself and call the company if you need to.

Now that you’ve found dairy-free cake mix,
you may want to check out these tubs of store-bought icing that have worked for our milk allergy, as well.
