Coffee consumption worldwide
Globally, coffee consumption increased in the last decade, with the equivalent of more than 166 million 60kg bags of coffee consumed around the world in 2020/21. Americans consumed on average 1.87 cups of coffee per day in 2020, with around 1.28 cups of their daily coffee intake consumed at home, versus only an average of 0.2 cups consumed at work or in eating places.
