It all started way back in 1947 in California, USA when two brothers-in-law Burton “Burt” Baskin and Irvine “Irv” Robbins decided to team up and give birth to “Baskin Robbins”.

The logo includes a stylized "31" formed from the letters "B" and "R". The slogan came from the Carson-Roberts advertising agency (which later merged into Ogilvy & Mather) in 1953.
