We want everyone to feel welcome at church. But what can we do about it? Here are some tips:
- Don’t always sit by the same people.
- Include others in conversations and in activities you’re planning.
- Build on common interests.
- Give sincere compliments.
- If there’s something unique about a person, be interested in it (respectfully) instead of avoiding it.
- Don’t get hung up on outward appearance.
