1. The food
Greece is famous for its food, and the most famous dish is souvlaki. This street food meal costs only 1–2€, and its taste is something that you won’t forget. 3. The public transport and the taxis
Taxis in Athens are affordable, and on the islands or in smaller towns, the cost for a cab is not important (with 10€, you can go almost everywhere). However, if you don’t want to spend your money for taxi, the public transport, especially in Athens, is convenient, and the tickets are cheap. With 2–3€ per day, you can visit every worthwhile corner of the city by subway, tram or bus.
4. The entertainment
In Greece, drinking alcohol is a low-budget habit. You can enjoy your favourite music in one of the numerable Greek bars without having to worry about the cost. You can drink a prim co*cktail with only 9€, ouzo and raki with 4€, wine and beer with 3–5€ and all alcoholic beverages, such as gin or vodka with 6–7€. And because entertainment is not only the alcohol and the bars, in Greece, you can enjoy another activity that is perfect for your health, mind and attitude. Swimming is free, and most beaches are public, waiting for you to lie on them and get excited with the sun and their crystal waters.
